      Hi John,

I have been desperately, desperately trying to find the cover version of the Me and Mrs Jones song Sabrina and Mark danced to. It is definately NOT Michael Buble. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me find the song. I have searched through hundreds of versions of this song on youtube and itunes and cannot find it…

Can you help me? Any information you have on who to contact, etc would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you,
      lauren

Hello Lauren – John asked me to look for this song since I have a better ear for them apparently *shrugs*. Anyway the version of Me & Mrs Jones is not Michael Buble as you have correctly surmised, but the cover was done by Billy Paul Billy Paul - 360 Degrees of Billy Paul - Me and Mrs. Jones.

      Hope this helps!

      Hi Marianya,

Thanks for getting back so quickly!! But I hate to break it to you, that is not the song. At a stretch, I could kind of understand how billy paul could do a very very special version just for dancing with the stars and for that dance and make it sound different from all his previous versions of the song. But I dont think thats it. I am sure this is another man…

I guess its safe to assume I’m never going to find it? That its hidden in some DWTS safe somewhere and there is no one to get a hold of who can give me access to it? I could then just try to find the most similar version… my fiance and I are doing this dance at our wedding in about a month and this is the song I want but its just getting too difficult to find it…

      Thanks for your help anyway!

      Lauren,
DWTS has a live band and so none of the music is exactly the same as the other songs you can download online or on iTunes.

The only way to get the exact cut is to find the video from the show and then extract the audio from the video and then you’d have it. I’ve never done this, but it seems like it would be possible to take the audio from the dance on DWTS and just take the audio.

Of course, I’ll leave the legalities of doing that to you.
