Jesse McCartney Performs on Dancing with the Stars

Jesse McCartney performed on tonights Dancing with the Stars results show. Dancing with the Stars does the best job with these guest acts, because they still incorporate dancing and professional dancers into the special musical guests. All the other dance shows can take a lesson from this. Plus, the pro dancers in this video were awesome.

Jeff Ross and Edyta Sliwinska’s Final Mambo Dance

I’ve noted my sadness about Jeff Ross and Edyta Sliwinska getting sent home, but I’m at least glad that the producers of Dancing with the Stars let us see Edyta dance again and didn’t put all of Jeff Ross’s practice go to complete waste. Here’s the mambo video of Jeff Ross and Edyta Sliwinska:

Dancing with the Stars Results Show Professional Dance

Tonight was the Dancing with the Stars results show. I won’t offer any spoilers on this post. I’ll save the analysis for a future post. Instead, I’ll save this post for what I think is the best part of Dancing with the Stars: the professionals dancing together. Here’s the video of the Dancing with the Stars professionals dancing on the September 25, 2008 results show:

Beautiful ballroom with some creative choreography is just wonderful to watch.

Jeffrey Ross and Edyta Śliwińska Eliminated – Dancing with the Stars

Jeffrey Ross and Edyta Śliwińska were elimnated from Dancing with the Stars before they were even able to perform their quickstep. That has to suck for Jeffrey Ross to practice so much and not get the chance to perform it. I think I can also speak for all men when I say that I’m sad we won’t get to see much of Edyta this season. Jeffrey also made me laugh so I’m sad to see him go too.

For those dancers that remain, check out the videos of their Quickstep and Mambo dances:

I’m missing Lance and Kim‘s videos, but I’ll update it if I’m able to find it.

Dancing with the Stars Season 7 Premiere

An exciting marathon of dancing on the Dancing with the Stars Season 7 premier episode. ABC really is lucky to have this show. It’s such an interesting mix of talent. Here’s a link to find a tonight’s list of all the songs and music from Dancing with the Stars.

Who were your favorite dancers? I’m not sure I have a rock solid favorite. One thing is happening for me. The professional dancers are becoming stars in their own right. I think I’m voting as much for the professional dancer as I am the stars.

Dancing with the Stars Season 8 Couples Predictions

UPDATE: ABC has announced the official Dancing with the Stars Season 8 Cast.

Dancing with the Stars Season 7 hasn’t even started yet, and some of the Dancing with the Stars fans are already starting to predict who the Dancing with the Stars Season 8 couples will be. While I think it’s a bit early for these predictions, I also think that it’s a ton of fun to think about various stars being on the show.

Take a look at one person’s Dancing with the Stars Season 8 predictions:

Tim Allen with Kym Johnson
Cher with Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Nicolas Cage with Karina Smirnoff
Hayden Christensen with Julianne Hough
Jesse Draper with Mark Ballas
Dale Earnhardt Jr with Cheryl Burke
Brett Favre with Edyta Sliwinska
Wynonna Judd with Jonathan Roberts
Ty Murray with Anna Trebunskaya
Christina Ricci with Derek Hough
Brooke Shields with Fabian Sanchez
Shania Twain with Louis Van Amstel

My favorites on the list were Tim Allen and Brett Favre. I think they’d be really entertaining to watch. However, I would really really enjoy seeing Shania Twain on the show. A bit like Sarah Evans before, but even more beautiful (if that’s possible).

Misty May-Treanor Dancing with the Beach Girlz

Misty May-Treanor shows off her dance moves with the Beach Girlz and Casey Jennings can’t help but join in along with her. This makes for an interesting preview of what Misty dancing with Maks on Dancing with the Stars will be like. Ok, probably not, but can you imagine if she makes it to the finals and does a freestyle?

This is a nice little video clip of Misty May and Maks on ET (amidst the Kim Kardashian video). The best part is that I think this video debunks the myth that Misty May-Treanor has had formal dance training. All she’s doing is freestyle stuff and may have learned one or two moves from the Beach Girlz. When you see the above dance video, there shouldn’t be any question about whether Misty May has had any dance training.
