Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas on DWTS

Shawn Johnson is paired with Mark Ballas on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. Shawn Johnson is the youngest and by far the smallest person to have ever competed on Dancing with the Stars. Good thing Mark Ballas isn’t that big either.
There’s really no doubt that Shawn Johnson is a huge star. The Olympics aren’t that far out of our memory and Shawn Johnson’s nearly heroic gold medal despite getting worked by Nastia Liukin for the rest of the Olympics is still one of my favorite memories from this past Olympics. I was so glad for the US’s little Golden girl to actually get the Gold.
I don’t think that Shawn Johnson will be the most entertaining on the show since she’s kind of a quiet little girl. I also think she’s going to look a little bit awkward on the dance floor. However, I really hope that Mark has her bust out some tumbling pass at the beginning of every dance. Possibly a back flip into his arms or something. Whatever it is, Mark better use those skills in some unique way.
Mark Ballas has been becoming more and more famous in his own right. His participation (and really leadership in many ways) of the Ballas Hough Band will really help him get a lot more votes than other professional dancers might get.
I think that Shawn and Mark will make it close to the end of the show, but I don’t believe that Mark will take another Gold Medal winner to the top of Dancing with the Stars. Shawn’s awkwardness on the dance floor will catch up with her near the end and she’ll be sent home.
NO WAY. SHAWN WILL BE 1,2,OR 3. IF THE TRUTH WAS KNOWN, THE REASON THE OTHERS ARE DROPPING OUT IS BECAUSE THEY KNOW SHAWN AND MARK WILL KICK THEIR TAILS. PLUS 90% OF AMERICANS ADMIRE SHAWN. WE NEED A YOUNG FRESH PERSONALITY LIKE HERS TO TAKE OUR MINDS OFF OUR COUNTRY’S OTHER PROBLEMS RIGHT NOW.
Definitely a possibility. It should be fun to watch and see when they get sent home.
Hey Shawn & Mark I Yall Waltz It’s Was Great Yestrday I Told everybody That Was Great.
Yeah um… shawn will definitly make it. SHES A GYMNAST! She knows more about how to move her body then anybody. Im a gymnast to and we might not have so much grace but we can definitly do anything involving coordination better than you. And no shes not going to enter with a “flip” but maybe a arial or RO BHS LAY. KNOW YOUR GYMNASTICS!!!!!!
I love how you make it so personal. There’s no doubt she can move her body more than me. However, that’s not the comparison. I’m not competing on the show.
Also, please read my notes better. I said she’d enter with a “tumbling pass” not a “flip.” I suggested she do a back flip into Mark’s arms. So, don’t talk to me about knowing my gymnastics when it seems like you don’t even know how to read.
Goodness. People like this make me wonder if I ever want to know my gymnastics.
I think I gave a pretty good analysis of Shawn. She is doing well, but her shoulders are huge and so it looks a little awkward, because the lines are different than a normal dancer.
The only difference is that instead of just making it close to the end, I think she might actually have a chance to make it to the top 3. Should be fun to see.
I’d like to see Mark let Shawn do a series of her signature powerful back flips across that dance floor, and kick that perverted smart mouthed judge right in the teeth!
