Lawrence Taylor is paired with Edyta Sliwinska for Dancing with the Stars 8. Lawrence Taylor was an amazing football player. My biggest unknown is that LT was a football player a long time ago. I’m pretty young and I still remember him, but I’m a pretty big sports fan. I’m not sure how much of the DWTS viewership will really remember LT.

Football is huge and having played in New York, millions of people in New York will remember who he was and so he’ll probably get a decent amount of the votes. I don’t see him as smooth as Emmitt Smith was on the dance floor, but I also don’t seem him as awkward as Maurice Green or even Jerry Rice.

Edyta is such a wonderful character and personality for the show. Her accent, her legs, her choreography are all wonderful. She actually shows her real emotions when she doesn’t get what she wants. I love her passion for wanting to win and I think many other people do too.

Look for Edyta and Lawrence Taylor to be near the top with an outside shot at making the top 3 if someone else has a bad week.
