wow, you really overestimate joanna and derek. i know this site thinks he walks on water, but their dancing and fan support is no where near mya/dmitry. Joanna wore a costume the first week that masked her flawed technique.
Aaron, MYA, and Donny are too close to call at this point. If you factor in fan support you have to give Donny the edge. I don’t like Donny by the way but at least I can be honest.

I don’t believe Courtney who created the power rankings has a special affinity for Derek. Heidi most certainly does and maybe that slightly influenced Courtney;-)
Time will tell. Joanna has dropped down the rankings and if she doesn’t perform very well, she’ll continue to drop. However, Derek does have a larger fan base than almost any other pro on the show. So, that’s part of the power rankings.
Derek’s fan base is bigger than all pros sans Lacey, and Lacey was only beating him by 500 on twitter before the season started – Lacey’s huge jump in twitter followers shows what happens when you have a popular partner.
Uh, Derek DOES walk on water – at least he dances like it.
Dmitry is boooorring….it remains to be seen if he will achieve Derek/Mark/Julianne/Lacey/Cheryl/Maks status. And Mya?? Ringiest of all ringers was the phrase someone else used – couldn’t agree more. Unless she and Dmitry really pick it up in the personality department, I pick her as a shocking elimination a la Sabrina Bryan. But then, objectively speaking, I don’t expect Derek and Joanna to win or last longer than Mya – the competition is too fierce. There’s no telling what will happen.
