DWTS Season 10: Possible Female Contenders :)
Alright, I’ve debated on whether or not to put my choices for next season out there since this season is still going on, but I’m just going to do it since I’ve been working on my pairing for quite sometime! Who knew it was going to be SO difficult to put a decent cast together to represent multiple cultures (i.e. athletes, singers, actors, etc.)
I read Heidi’s post on things she’s heard/seen around the internet and I would bet that someone from the Jackson family might be on, but I didn’t put them in my pairings because I don’t care to see them next season! So here is what I’d like to see go down 
GIRLS:
Miley Cyrus (17, Pop Singer/Actress), she has been getting a lot of heat lately and I don’t think she deserves it! I think she is a genuine teen at heart who is trying to grow up and America won’t let her!
Partner: Mark Ballas…I think he’d have the patience with her and he’d be a great role model for her to have! And he’s dating someone in her industry which would be a nice balance for her!
Mary-Kate Olsen (23, Actress), It is time for Mary-Kate to put those hideous outfits away and put on a sparkling ballroom gown
Partner: Benji Schwimmer…season 2 SYTYCD contestant and brother of Lacey…I think he’s just what MK needs, spunk! AND I think it’s time we get some new pro dancers
Nicole Richie (28, Reality TV Star), she was the bad girl and notoriously funny girl from the ‘Simple Life’! She’s now mellowed down and has two children with Joel Madden.
Partner: Derek Hough…I think these two would be hilarious together! Both goofballs!
Malia Jones (33, Surfer), I don’t know much about her except that she is a kick ass surfer from Hawaii!
Partner Dmitry Chaplin: This would be the hottest couple, hands down, on the girls end
Tyra Banks (36, Model/Talk Show Host), she’s done everything else so why not put her on DWTS I think she’d take the experience to heart and find someway to put it on her show!
Partner: Maksim Chmerkovskiy…he needs someone to keep him in check and Tyra would do just that!
Nadia Comaneci (48, Olympic Gymnast) To have the first gymnast to ever recieve a perfect 10 on DWTS would be such an honor for ABC! She’d be AMAZING to watch!
Partner: Louis Van Amstel…I think she’ll need someone to make her laugh and not get stressed over taking the competition to seriously and we’ve seen what he’s done with Kelly this season!
Ellen DeGeneres (52, Talk Show Host) We all know that Ellen loves to dance and she does not qualify for her favorite show So You Think You Can Dance, so why not give her a spot on an equally amazing dancing show I think she’d be hilarious and jump right into the experience!
Partner: Tony Dovolani…I think these two have very similar personalities and Tony would be able to bring out Ellen’s passion for dance in brilliant choreography!
Anna Wintour (60, Vogue Editor-in-Chief), she is widely famous for being chic and always in style and I would love to get her out of her comfort zone and be equally chic in some ballroom gear
Partner: Jonathan Roberts….he always seems to bring out the best in his partners and I think he’d be the only person to keep up with her busy schedule!
Let me know your opinions and look for the male contenders next week
Wow some great choices there. Im all for Benji the winner on sytycd season 2 to join as a pro…love him. With Ellen a judge on Idol she would most likely be a part of season 11. Miley is the only other one that im not sure if it would happen but maybe one of her hannah co stars. I would like to see both of the olsen twins…so who would you pair Ashley with?

No to Benji! Stop using SYTYCD people. Get some real pros in there or bring back old ones, like Elena, Nick, or Jesse
I love the couples, that would be a great season, but i would not put Ellen with Tony.
I could totally see Maks and Tyra, fierce couple, would MAks be able to make Tyra cry?

Katrina, I understand your position on not using SYTYCD contestants; however, Chelsie, Dmitry, and Lacey are all professional ballroom dancers regardless of their time on SYTYCD. I’d love to see what Benji’s up to these days!
Amanda, one of miley’s co-stars already has been on DWTS…Cody Linley! And I would LOVE to see both the Olsen sisters on the same season and I’d probably pair her with Alec!
Jeanne, it’s not just that… I’ve taken classes from Buddy, Lacey and Benji. That’s the biggest reason and I’ll just leave it at that.
Just say NO to more SYTYCD contestants – ESPECIALLY Benji. I despise him. If he were on I would have to turn the channel when he dances. If Derek takes the season off and Benjii were on, I would not watch because of him, period.
No, I cannot explain my extreme dislike for him – it is intense and from the gut.
Did Lacey REALLY do professional ballroom to the extent that the non-SYTYCD people did? I don’t care if she only did youth or amature as opposed to pro – lots of the best (IMO) people on the show stopped competition once they grew out of the youth/amateur category. But I got the impression that Lacey never seriously competed at, say, Blackpool. But I don’t know.
All of that said, most of the couples discussed are HIGHLY unlikely, to say the least. And if Miley were to come on and dance with Mark, I would just give the show up – how many ringers does one pro deserve? Derek’s never had an obvious contender – let him have an Olympian that isn’t 12 years his senior. For that matter, some of the older pros have never had ringers either – Louis, Jonathan, etc. Melissa and Kim K. do not make up for the extreme luck of having Sabrina, Kristi and Shawn.
I like the SYTYCD dancers that are on the show now, but I don’t think I would go with adding any other ones. I LOVED Chelsie and Lacey on their seasons, so I was glad to see both of them on the show. However, I really like the pros that they have been working with over the past few seasons. I think a lot of people tune in just as much to see them as they do the celebs. As for the list, like the others, I really don’t see any of these happening… Like Heidi said, how much more of a ringer can you get besides Miley? I like the slightly obscure celebs that usually get chosen because its neat to see what they have been up to… I can’t wait to see who will be chosen for next season and what pros will be coming back. I will be crying with Heidi when Derek takes a season off.
I really don’t see Miley doing this show. She’s way too popular right now. But she would be a ringer on the pure basis of her fan base which is ginormous. I hate to say it but many of the “stars” aren’t huge stars and come on to generate publicity.
Yeah I KNOW Cody was on and so was her Dad. I was thinking more like Emily or Mitchel.
I loved your list! You should definetely email it to ABC! It’s be great to see Miley on DWTS, but w/ her schedule , unrealistic.. Mary Kate is an awesome choice though! & Nicole,Tyra, & Ellen would definitely be fun to watch. That is if ABC hits the jackpot & is able to actually recruit them, the ratings would be crazy & the show would probably get crazzy amounts of votes.
One additional note about Benji Schwimmer. He’s not a ballroom dancer. So, I think it would be highly unlikely that he would even be considered. His specialty is West coast Swing, not Latin or ballroom.
I think Mark Consuelos would be great with Karina or Edyta…Kelly Ripa would be great with Derek or Max…That would be great to see.
I think Paige Davis would be great with Alec or Louis and Melissa Rivers with Jonathan or Tony

I don’t think miley would be good for mark.
We will find out March 22 that’s when it starts up again. Ellen can’t now that she’s on Idol.
the choice for Dmitry is wonderful, He will blend better with a HOT Tamali.
