   Somehow I doubt that… From what I’ve heard, they’ve told contestants that they couldn’t talk to the press till ABC releases the names…

   Katrina – they’re told that EVERY season and they still can’t keep their mouths shut. I wouldn’t go by THAT to doubt a rumor. Besides Twitter isn’t “press”. But I have to say your absolute faith that everyone does as they’re told is refreshing. The pros are the only ones who manage to, for the most part, not TALK. Even a few of them can’t help but give hints.

   I know that, however it’s also still very early… I’m thinking that ABC will try to announce it’s cast sometime during the Olympics to pull viewers from NBC. Some of them know to keep their mouth shut, just not others.

   And Yes, Twitter is now considered a sort of Press. It’s a part of Social Media which in some ways is a new form of Press.

   OMG It is Simeon Rex! I thought he was good looking when he was on “What I like About You”… then I found out he became a porn star.

   Twitter is not “the press” – not in the traditional sense. But that it totally beside the point. The point is that just because producers tell potential celebs to not talk doesn’t mean they won’t talk. As for the timing – well, I mentioned Debi Mazar on JUNE 28…more than two months before the start of Season 9. Which is about how far out we are now from Season 10.

   While I like the “big name” stars always on DWTS to get a better idea of who they are as people (and real personalities always come out in rehearsal), I also like the celebs I DON’T know because I get exposed to them and maybe start to like them. Dirt Nasty, huh?
