Dancing with the Stars Season 11 – Let the Rumors Begin!!
Or is it continue?? I lose track. In any case, if you haven’t seen this already, here is the ultimate in ugly possibility for a contestant on DWTS. From the Huffington Post:
Rachel Uchitel, the night club hostess who allegedly slept with Tiger Woods, is said to be aiming for a spot on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” according to Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Clarke writes that Uchitel has been training for six weeks.
Uchitel (PHOTOS), who reportedly moved back to Las Vegas in March, was the first woman to be named as part of Woods’ explosive sex scandal. Woods reportedly wrote Uchitel an emotional email and also allegedly shared a bizarre sex fantasy with her. In January, a source who initially revealed Uchitel’s relationship with Tiger called her a “celebrity whore.”
All I can say is…this had better not be true. Otherwise, ugh. A new low.

I thought having Kate on the show was a stretch, but at least with her they could work the “everyday mom” angle. I don’t see the “I’m only famous for sleeping with a famous athlete” thing working.
Plus I read somewhere else that she’s trying to get her own show up and running… “Romancing Rachel” or something lame like that.
Why would she already be training? I call BS, I can’t see any interest/advantage for the show to have obvious cannon fodder on the show.
Besides, how would she claim to be a star? DWTS’s has huge ratings–that should result in bigger/more well known stars.
Hell, Hedi Fleiss is more qualified to be on the show after Celebrity Rehab. DON’T GO THERE SHOW!!

God… I can just imagine her package on the premier now. You know how all of the celebrities at the beginning of their package state why their “famous”?
There will be one guy who’s actually famous: “I’m so-and-so and I’m a professional ____. I REALLY want this badly.”
And this will be hers: “I’m Rachel Uchitel, and I may not be as famous as ____, but MY first claim to fame was by sleeping with Tiger Woods. From claim to fame, to claim to dancing, either way, that trophy is MINE. It’ll be a hole in one *winks to the camera*.”
Ugh.

Saw a short blurb about this on last night’s Insider (and no, I was not watching voluntarily – my mother insisted on watching it before relinquishing the flat screen so I could watch CSI), but they made it seem like this was just a rumor…they even had Rachel saying that she “just likes dancing for fun, as a hobby”. So, *fingers crossed* I’m gonna hope and pray that it’s just that: a rumor.
But if not, I agree w/ck410 – I don’t see ABC getting so desperate as pursuing Rachel as a contestant, just like I didn’t foresee them pounding down Levi Johnston’s door, either. Aside from Kate and maybe Kim Kardashian, ABC has done a good job thus far of steering clear of truly scandalous characters, and with a slew of decently big (scandal-free) names still out there that want to do the show, I don’t see them dipping into the tabloid barrel anytime soon. Sorry, Rachel
But let’s pretend for one second that ABC WAS desperate, and DID go after Rachel as a contestant – they could also put the “9-11 widower” spin on her, as her fiancee at the time died in the south tower of the World Trade Center. It’d be a bit of a stretch, but then again, so was Heather Mills – I daresay she was more well-known for being Paul McCartney’s ex-wife than for her crusading against landmines. It’s all in the spin, people…
People would boycott the show. Kate is tabloid fodder but there is that mommy factor. It is a fine line and Rachel is crossing it. What is she going to say? Hi, I am Rachel. You best know me as mistress number 1.
Kate has/had her own show. She’s an author, and she’s one of Barbara’s Most Fascinating People. Kim K. is also a model and reality tv star. Rachel Uchitel is NOBODY. What was her profession before Tiger?
Rachel isn’t famous….shes a hooker! Rachel on the show would be the final straw for me…she isn’t “famous” anyways. The only reason we know of her is because Tiger Woods banged 50 million chicks and shes the most desperate fame/money wh*re
I might boycott more then DWTS, i’d boycott ABC if they do this. I mean there is nothing females love more then hookers right?
I love how people call her mistress #1….she was just the first to capitalize on her situation….and probably one of the LAST to get what apparently everyone else had. Nasty, sloppy hundreds of thousands. Congrats Rach…your the poster child for all the plastic home wreckers out there! LOL. Pathetic, some people just need to know when the 15 minutes are over and done with…unless they are truly pathetic.
There is no way she should be allowed on the show!
Bad enough she and Tiger had a fling but to allow her on the show is very low,,,all for the chance of stardom???
