DWTS 10 Pamela & Damian Dance Comparison
It’s that time of the week again! Where we reminisce about the dances that a celeb has done and compare that to past celebs that danced to that same song waaaaaay back when.
In Pamela and Damian’s case, they have four recycled songs in their repertoire this season. Unfortunately I was only able to find dances to three of the four recycled songs. The fourth song in question is I Can’t Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt. 
Pamela and Damian danced their Rumba to this song on Week 4, while it was originally done by Toni Braxton & Alec Mazo of Season 7 on Week 2 also as a Rumba. (In case you’re wondering, I cannot find a video of Toni & Alec’s Rumba… so if anyone has that it would be great!)
So going down memory lane…
On Week 2, Pamela & Damian danced a Foxtrot to Marilyn Monroe’s I Wanna Be Loved By You.
This was originally danced by Season 3′s Mario Lopez & Karina Smirnoff on Week 7.
On Week 5 for Movie Night, Pamela & Damian danced a Quickstep to Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5.
This dance was originally danced by Lisa Rinna & Louis van Amstel from Season 2 on Week 6
And finally… let’s remember the Waltz from this past week to Billy Vera & the Beaters’ At This Moment.

As it was pointed out in the comments by Sammy (THANK YOU!) I had originally listed Pamela & Damian’s Paso Doble as a comparison, but upon listening to their dance and comparing it to that of P Miller & Ashly Costa (nee DelGrosso) there are actually distinct differences in the musicality of each one. When I researched the song further I found out that it was recorded multiple times over the years.
So when listening to the different versions of essentially the same song (written by the same people), P Miller & Ashly’s version was sung by The Animals while Pamela & Damian’s version was sung by Santa Esmeralda.

So there you have it! Personally I believed that Pamela still had a lot of dance left in her… I would have loved to have seen what a freestyle would be like for her. 
I would love to see the proffesionals recreate the season one dance that the did to the Billy Idol song. it was spectacular and I still get goose bumps when I think of it all these years later.. I would also ask if it is on video anywhere?
