I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

In past seasons it was not terribly uncommon for celebrities to drop out due to injuries, personal problems, etc. What is uncommon is for two celebrities to have to drop out at around the same time prior to the premiere of the season. Even more uncommon is for someone to be added into the lineup just days prior to the start of the series… though if that last minute addin is a ringer of sorts then I suppose it could work…

Well, most people seem to be believe that “bigger is better”, that’s probably what many people in ABC were thinking when they made the decision to expand the cast to sixteen celebrities… granted with every decision made, there are bound to be consequences.
Still as diluted as this season started out, there were many memorable moments to be had…
