DWTS Season 11 Cast Rumor – Chris Jericho
Here’s the trail I followed:
Chris is a WWE wrestler and the interview discussed above can be found here —> Chris Jericho They discuss his participation at about 3:30 – he was previously offered but couldn’t do it due to a different show he was on (Downfall (?) also on ABC). He said that he could very well do it in the future, but that it takes a lot of time.
I don’t follow WWE anymore, not for about 3-4 years, but he was always a favorite of mine! Not that I know him personally or anything, but this seems like something he would do, and enjoy doing it. He seems to love a challenge
Smart casting choice. He will appeal to men and women. He is also funny. He always does thoes Vh1 I love the 80s, 90s, types shows and provides pretty funny comments. I am curious about his partner. Kym? Anna? Cheryl? Edyta?
Seems plausible. Echoing John’s sentiments, the last I heard, he was really only doing commentary for the VH1 ” I <3 the [insert decade here]" series. Never heard of that NBC series he was tied up with. I'm guessing it's now defunct, which could free him up to do the show. He is a funny guy – not intimidating and cold like a lot of the wrestlers I've seen. I could see people voting for him more than they did for, say, Chuck Liddell, who was eerily quiet for the duration of his time on season 9. I have a feeling that he'd probably get Anna or Edyta, since they're two of the taller ladies. I have a feeling it would be Anna – seems like they stick her with the real "tough guys".
Also heard somewhere (don't ask me where, it was probably a tiny 2-sentence blurb in US Weekly that I skimmed over while getting a pedi hehe
) that Hulk Hogan is trying to get on the show. Ugh. Wasn't "Hogan Knows Best" enough of a trainwreck? I'd definitely take Chris over Hulk.
The campaign to get Betty White on the show seems to have died down since she said in an interview that she'd already turned down the producers, saying that Cloris had already fulfilled the show's quota for funny senior ladies. I don't know, though – seems like there's still a tiny chance she could change her mind. After all, she originally turned down the opportunity to do SNL, until she saw all the crazy campaigning going on. I'm not getting my hopes up, but I do love me some Betty White!
I believe I just watched Chris’s show last night on ABC and it was interesting, in a game show sort of way. I really liked him, he seemed really fun. Chuck was quiet on the show but he got to be pretty good friends with Derek and Mark, at the very least. Possibly some of the other guys as well.
I’d like to see Johnny on the show and I’d like to see him win, just because of all the knicker twisting that would ensue. You know, I’m mean like that.
Karina has campaigned for one or two celebs for the past two seasons – mainly by saying “here’s who I’d LOVE to dance with”. Last season it was John Stamos, I believe. I don’t have a problem with it – except when it’s Derek saying he wants to dance with Betty White. 
Although, I think that would be rather fun to watch.
I never comment and stuff and this is the only one i will ever leave but i have a dreamlist for DWTS!! and i mean real stars! But 1s that I dont think are totally out of reach for DWTS like Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, etc. But all big or pretty big names. Now unlike alot of people i LOVE big casts, its exciting to have so many diffrent personalities! Plus u get to see more of your fav pros! But it shouldnt be a HUGE list of ppl no ones ever heard of! My list has 18 of America’s best stars for this show. but i think this should totally be the most contestants it ever will have. any bigger vamd thats to large. This would be their best cast yet! hope u like!
