   Now, here’s a good question. Maks tweeted that he was told that they wouldn’t find out until this Tuesday or so if they were back. Was HE told that, yet Derek and Chelsie told something else? Or were the press jumping the gun and misquoting Derek AND Chelsie?? I’d like to see video to see what was said. Frankly, I think Derek and Chelsie were told they would be back – last year at this exact time Derek was asked at the Emmy’s if he was back and he said “Not officially” – today he apparently skipped over the Maks day of Tuesday (re-tweeted by Anna) and said he finds out on Friday who his partner is.

   It seems that the producers do tell the professionals at different times. At least in past seasons it seems like they were pretty sporadic with who they told and when.

   I think Mak is being his arrogant self. John is right it does seem that the producers tell them at different times. Mainly because the celebs sign the contract at different times. Chelsie is also back on DWTS.

   It could be as simple as Mark not talking to the press – he wasn’t nominated for anything, after all. But then, could we really expect Mark to NOT talk to the press? I’ve not seen a mention of Mark there and I’ve only seen one picture – but then I confess I don’t go looking for it either. I follow all the pros and a lot of entertainment press – the entertainment press is where I saw Derek and Chelsie. And Derek’s remarks were repeated by both Radar Online and Marc Malkin. And EVERYONE who reports on DWTS too their comments the same way I did – so I think Maks might be making an assumption. I hope.

   Ok, so Derek & Chelsie definitely in, Julianne definitely out. Everyone else still up in the air. Right?

   @Jeniffer – All Mark seems to be tweeting about is his adventures at Disneyland…and I love how he made it a point to share with us that he bought a stuffed Donald Duck because he has “no one to sleep next to”. Hehe. So if he and Chelsie are definitely a “thing” – good for her for holding out! I’m not sure Mark knows yet if he’s in or out. As we’ve said before – I think they confirm with the pros as they confirm with the celebs. So I’m guessing that they’ve already matched Derek & Chelsie with celeb partners that are definitely a lock contractually. I’m sure the confirmations from other pros will trickle in as the confirmations from the celebs do.

    LOL – I was just talking to John about the internet chatter I’d been hearing and talking about doing a post on it. Neither Brandy nor Audrina are “new” rumors (of course not, Perez has nothing new any more), but I honestly can’t tell what’s a rumor and what’s recycled chatter from the past few seasons. I guess I better get to work.
