   Wow…Rick & Cheryl are going to make a very pretty couple. I mean…DAMN. They look REALLY good together. Derek & Jennifer looking very good as well.

   Yeeeek, both Bristol & Mark and Lacey & Kyle are looking pretty awkward. Hope that improves.

   Ok, I’m officially bored with rehearsal pix. Bring on the preseason photo shoots so I can start ditto hunting!

   I don’t like Lacey as a blond. And, she tweeted a photo, she said she’s already going crazy. Remember the last 19 year old boy who competed? I think he may be similar….

   Lacey looks better a brunette but she got rid of those awful extensions. Mark looks ridiculous in that first picture.

   I love Mark’s look in the photo. Play to the camera. Bristol looks shell shocked though. This is going to be a difficult journey for her I can tell. She doesn’t know what she got herself into. She’s going to try and put on a smile, but this is not “fun” for her. She’ll grow from it though, and that’s awesome.

   Jennifer does look amazingly good in that picture. I may have underestimated her. Unless she’s like Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and has moments that look great, but is awkward at times.

   Kyle is in real trouble. Lacey’s not going to like this at all.

   Cheryl will make Rick look good.

   Lori, I think Lacey was just so much prettier as a brunette – why she wanted to go blond I don’t know. I always find that dark hair and blue eyes is a prettier combination than the blonde – sorry John.

    Yeah, I think Mark is trying to loosen Bristol up and that’s good – that’s what he’s supposed to do!

    How in the hell did I end up rooting for this girl whose mother is the antithesis of everything I believe in? Geez, this show. Well, she’ll certainly do something to make me dislike her – like letting her mother into the studio audience.

    LOL Heidi. I’m that way too. At first, I didn’t like Bristol being on the show. Now I see it as her striking out on her own and maybe even trying to get away from her tyrant mother, family, and the nutsieness of what she was dealing with in Alaska with Levi, politics, etc. In the picture, it looks like Mark is lightening her up. She probably hasn’t laughed that much since gawd knows when.

    I think Cheryl and Rick look ‘stunning’ too. Good word to describe. They are a “pretty” couple like Courntey commented. Maks and Brandy are a handsome couple. That pic she posted on Twitter is adorable of them. I love when these couples look like they’ve found a “bond”(I like that word better than “showmance”) which is key to their success on the show.

    John, I hope Kyle and Lacy are knocked out that first week. lol They look bad.

    Ya know, Vogue, I can’t imagine what Bristol has had to deal with in the past 2 years or so – and I really need to remind myself not to place the sins of the mother on the child. I’m hoping this experience will be really good for her – broaden her horizions, give her some independence. Shockingly enough, I’m really rooting for her. Now, if she claims that a reporter asking her what she reads is a trick question, all bets are off.

    I also hate the blonde hair on Lacey. I’m still reserving judgment on Derek and Jennifer, but she may be better than I expected. First impression of Bristol is that she seems kind of sweet, nervous and embarrassed to look silly.

    No apology needed Princess. I hate the blonde hair on Lacey too. It just doesn’t fit. I love blondes, but not when it’s fake like that.

    Plus, I have nothing against hot brunettes. Karina and Edyta are by far the most attractive pros for me. Neither is blonde. Although, I do enjoy Chelsie and Julianne as well. Let’s just say I’m completely biased to beauty!

    Thanks for posting that pic Andie, I’ve been looking at the shots Heidi”s been posting all week and the one’s of Cheryl and Rick look like he’s dancing with his 9 year old, I just don’t know how it’s going to look in it’s final incarnations on the dance floor? And they’ve got the odds to win? We’ll see…

    I was really kind of disappointed earlier this week with the cast announcement but I have to say as the week has passed, I’m actually getting excited to see how these folks will do. Margaret Cho is really starting to “feel” all of it in a really positive way, so I’m really anxious to see her dance. I agree Jennifer’s lines are already matching Derek’s really nicely, so that bodes well for them. I really like Brandy’s attitude and I think she’s really likable so that will carry her far, i’m sure. The only one I’m kind of skeeved about is the Chelsie/Michael pairing. I just can’t get behind that one! She looks like she’s paired with her Grandfather, it’s not believable to me. After seeing Bristol on Leno last night, she seems to have a nice understated sense of humor, which if she shows should make her more likable. Mark seems happy enough with her, so that makes me pleased. And I do agree she probably does want to let the public see she’s more than just someone who made a huge mistake (that was played out in the public forum) and that she’s human with ambitions of her own (Heiidi, LOVED “the sins of the Mother” comment, I can relate!).
