DWTS Season 11 – Pre-Season Media, September 10, 2010
Maks and Brandy on Access Hollywood. All I’m going to say is: I love Brandy – so direct and funny. And I like her WAY better than her partner.

Speaking of Derek and Jennifer – Entertainment Tonight. I don’t think Derek is lifting her EVER – he’s afraid. With good reason.

So far, I am focused on 5 people. Kurt, Brandy, David, Audrina and Jennifer. Let me just say that Brandy needs work! Those arms are not graceful and Maks better put her in shape for the competition! I want to root for this girl, but right now, she’s looking kind of awkward. Best wishes to you Brandy, go get ‘em!

After watching all the media links in the last few days, here are my top 6 in order now;

September 20th can’t come soon enough. Looking forward to the season to begin. Nathan, I agree with you in regards to Brandy. After watching the footage, she sure needs to work on her arms. I also have to say David sure loves the media attention.

Jennifer’s being awfully brave about her cancer experience. To put it in perspective, she had the same cancer Roger Ebert did. I hope she doesn’t suffer the set-backs and complications he did and that she’s really cancer free forever. I’ll be cheering her on.
I’m also looking forward to seeing Florence Henderson although I’ve never watched the Brady Bunch and don’t know much of what she can do. I just like her personality in that quick little parking lot blurb.

I’ll give Florence week 4 or 5 at the most.
My Top 5, or the contenders as Len calls them.
Maks/Brandy (If he doesn’t win with her, he’ll never win)
Audrina/Tony ( Just coz I’m a Hill fan and Tony’s fan)
Rick/Cheryl( just coz I’m Cheryl fan, and Eliza will be in the audience every week)
David/Kym ( Just coz he’s gonna charm the audience ( who’s median age is 56 y/o) away.
David Hasselhoff I think will be this seasons Donny Osmond, like they’re both really out there, funny, crowd pleasers, etc. Which makes since bc they were/are both pared with Kym Johnson.

Oh and Vouge i think your pretty spot on with your contenders even tho they’re are always suprises and im calling it anyones win this season.
Im still thinking Kurt Warner will do well and idk Kyle Massey may not have a huge fanbase esspecialy with adults with no kids but niether did Cody Linley and he made it all the way to Semi Finals ( Given he was a pretty good dancer and he had Jullianne who brought in votes, idk how many extra votes Lacey will bring in ) So obivous Cody’s fans voted. 
Roger Ebert’s complications came from the surgery. I do not know when Roger Ebert’s cancer was caught but maybe they found Jennifer’s in an earlier stage. Either way, she is putting on a brave face.
If Maks cannot win with Brandy, he will never win. Well maybe if he gets Nastia.
John – Roger Ebert’s cancer was thyroid cancer, and it recurred in the salivary glands. The chemo he endured burst his artery and if he wasn’t in the hospital at the time, he would have died. I hope Jennifer’s cancer doesn’t recur. She’s clear now, but her last surgery was Christmas Eve, so it hasn’t even been a year. We have a history of the same cancer in my family, which is why I’ve always watched Roger Ebert’s progress with the disease.
Actually, I’m liking David a lot better than I liked Donny at this point – we’ll see if that holds up.

And I don’t think they should be elimated that first week either. Give them atleast two weeks.
As for David vs. Donny: I’m not sure David will last as long as Donny (since he might not have as good as rhythm or natural ability for dancing). But, I think he is going to be way funnier and we’re going to want to keep him around just to laugh and have fun. Margaret Cho may be like that too. I have a feeling she will be the most outragous contestant we’ver ever seen. lol

I’m impressed with Florence She’s got Flo! I think Brandy is a tad over-rated at this point – those flailing arms are a problem… and Jennifer looks great, but, has to watch her footwork.
