Dancing with the Stars Acoustic Night Music
I apologize for being a little late this week on listing the music from tonight’s Dancing with the Stars. I was out at an event and so I wasn’t able to get it posted until now. Of course, since tonight was Dancing with the Stars acoustic night, the list below won’t be a perfect match, but I’m sure many will enjoy it just the same. Who thought up “Acoustic Night”? Are you thinking straight? A round elevated stage instead of a flat surface to do their dancing. Someone is going to get injured. I hope Derek & Jennifer win the season. They seem to be the only ones with the proper music for the thype of dance they are doing. The rest of the music chosen for the Tangos and Rumbas was ALL WRONG. The show wasn’t broke, why try to fix it? You made a mess of things, put it back the way it was. Don’t do all the flash backs and re-runs, it’s boring and not needed.

And Agatha, I have to agree with you about the round stage. It was fun to see a change. The “looks” of it was amazing. But, the dancers were so limited. It’s like putting a team of Huskies in a room to race instead of the country side. lol
I also agree about some of the music. For instance, Tony and Audrina’s music was totally wrong for the Argentine Tango.
Last night was a total bust on DWTS! The tiny circular stage gave us small restrictive dances. Derek and Jennifer were fabulous, but even their dance would have been better on the normal dance floor. That was a horrible idea they should never attempt again. Cheryl who studied in South America this summer was robbed of a good performance by that stupid stage! Voguerista I totally agree! Audrina and Tony would have done much better if the producers had given them a Tango song to do the Tango to. They made the best of it, but the song hurt them.

The producers need to try out new things to keep the show fresh. It seems like the reaction to the small stage is clear. The acoustic fail apart in my book because it wasn’t a pure clean acoustic night.
As far as some of the songs being poor song choices, this happens almost every week. Usually at least one of the songs is a poor choice for that style of dance.
Andrea, thanks and I agree. Sometimes I wonder if the producers are purposely trying to set some of the teams up to fail? I mean…first they sensationalized Maks and Brandy’s rehearsal package last week and now this. Tony should have asked for another song like Lacey did a few weeks ago when she didn’t like The Eagles song which would have been all wrong for their dance too. Anyway, sometimes I don’t understand what they are doing? Or are they just throwing any songs out there without thinking about it. If so, someone needs to be replaced in the song department. lol
