Oh Marianya! How I love these posts!! I have a feeling Derek and Jennifer’s score will be higher. Same with Kyle and Lacey. Though I think Bristol and Mark’ score will be lower. Same with The Sitch and Karina’s and Flo and Corky’s. Time will soon tell. I can’t wait.

Cool Vogue! Personally, and I KNOW I’m speaking for myself, I’m a little bored with Jennifer. But, she’s doing the dances very well and won’t be surprised to see her in the finale, but if I had a wish list. It would be Kurt, Brandy and Audrina in the finale.

I like your wish list. If Audrina wins the whole thing, I would be just as happy as if Maks and Brandy won. But…oh, Jennifer and Derek are a force to be reckoned with. I know a lot of people don’t favor Kyle. But, he’s a dark horse and I’d love him to be in the finals too.

Wow! Great post. I was suprised to read that a few think Jennifer and Derek are boring. I don’t find them boring at all and love their routines. I may be off but I typically fine Aurdina boring though she seems really nice.
Yikes! Tough night for almost everyone. Only Jen/Derek improved and Brandy/Maks maintained their scores compared to last week (using the average of tonight’s 2 scores for comparison). Everyone else dropped by 2.5 to 6 points.
Anyone who found Jennifer and Derek boring tonight must be on crack. That is all.
As for Audrina – she was good, but vacant as I was afraid she would be. I believe the phrase I wrote in my notes was “dead eyes”.
Well i thought a few got underscored ( Kurt and Anna and Bristol and Mark ) I think The Sitch and Karina will be the next to go tho. Im annoyed because Bristol ( Like Carrie Ann said ) has so much potential BUT we havnt seen it yet, i think just she can make it to next week BUT! Shes got to break out and perform more! COME ON BRISTOL!!!!!!!! WE KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I agree – the scoring was a little off. Florence scored higher than both Kurt and Bristol? Really?
Oh boy – poor Sitch. His package will garner him some votes, I’m sure, but I fear Karina may have overloaded the lifts. Maybe she was trying to compensate for his lack of technique? Despite it all, tho, I’m not ready to see him go.
Do you reckon that having her mom in the audience is more of a distraction to Bristol than a help? I agree with Zack – I see real potential if only she can bring it to the surface.

I kinda hated Tony’s choreography, it just sat there.
I was a bit disappointed in Rick and Cheryl, although I still think he has the most potential of the guys. He looked so big on that elevated stage, and his feet just aren’t small enough to be precise.
Gawd, I can’t get over Derek and Jen’s tension filled piano bars for La Comprasita…how friggin brilliant was that? Genius. That was a better AT than what the pros demonstrated. That Dance should have scored higher.
This ended up being a really horrible night because of the tiny dance floor. No need to mess with that. Give us full dance floor dances! Every dance tonight was restricted and small! Even Derek and Jenn’s dance could have been better on the full dancefloor. Small minded idea. Really BAD!

Oh Andie, I loved Jennifer and Derek’s intro on the piano too. Very clever.
I totally disagree that the dance floor was terrible. It was brilliant. Argentine Tango is never meant to be danced on a ballroom floor, the pros have to learn to choreograph to the authenticity of Argentine Tango. As much as I loved Derek and Jen’s dance, he’s still a ballroom dancer, and you could see the differences in his carriage and staccato, which is not present in authentic Argentine Tango. Ballroom Tango is about filling the dance floor, Argentine Tango is about doing something brilliant in a smaller space. La Cumprasita, is usually used more of a ballroom Tango in that there’s that “march” within it. But for all the Tangos last evening, this familiar Tango really sold that dance in the way a rock song could never do.
