Glee was a repeat this week so I am not shocked. PLus it was the “Hairogrpahy” episode and that is probably their worst episode thus far. Next week it should be higher next week cuz of the Rocky Horror theme. On a side not, I watched “The Good Wife” for the first time and I loved it.
Oh the Good Wife is an awesome show.
Anyone know if Hawaii 5-0 was a repeat this week? My DVR didn’t record it. I’m hoping it was, because that would explain why it fell off the top 20 this week…I have a bad feeling that if it doesn’t blow up big within the next few weeks, it’s gonna get cancelled after only 1 season 🙁
I don’t believe it was a repeat, Court. Problem is, Hawaii 5-0 started our pretty highly rated and then fell off. That’s almost worse that starting out low. It means that people gave it a look and then passed – which is nuts because I loved it. But then, ask me if I saw it on Monday night. The answer is no, because my TV was tuned to DWTS and I also like Castle which comes on right after it – so the channel didn’t get changed. Bad news for Hawaii 5-0, but not reflective of quality. But the nets don’t give a rats ass about that. They’ll cancel before they move it, which sucks totally.
Heidi., you called it on Hawaii Five-O. It is good but it’s on at a bad time. Same with HOUSE right now. That show is the tops. But, notice how it never makes the top 20. I hope they won’t cancel Hawaii Five-O because it would be a shame. It just needs a different night.
Adding: good think Hawaii Five-O is On-line to view if you missed it. Same with House.
I’m thinking that, with CSI: Miami tanking in the ratings and moving to Sunday night, CBS tried to refill the “crime drama set in a tropical paradise” Monday primetime slot left by them with Hawaii 5-0. Unfortunately, Heidi’s right – I don’t think it’s any match for a ratings juggernaut like House. Poor Alex O’Loughlin – he always seems to end up on shows that aren’t necessarily bad, but are just victims of bad timing – Moonlight was a casualty of the writer’s strike back in ’08, and Three Rivers unfortunately came along at a time when there were just too many medical dramas on TV. Both were cancelled after only 1 season. I’m hoping like hell that this show doesn’t fall into that same trap…
…glad to see the Colts/Redskins game was a big ratings winner, even if my boys in blue played like crap and won by the skin of their teeth 😛 Oh, and to celebrate, our punter, Pat McAfee, got piss drunk and went for a swim in the canal and was booked for public intox…he’s suspended for this week’s game against Houston. Greeeeat…let’s just hope we don’t have to do much punting…
Never got into The Good Wife. Maybe cause I’m not a huge Julianne Margulies fan – I always confuse her with Kim Delaney. Kinda like Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Javier Bardem are interchangeable to me 😛 I am a goof, yes.
Oh, you are going to love this news. Read this! *so happy about H5-0 and Blue Bloods;

CBS Success: Hate to say we told ya so, but Hawaii Five-0 is pretty darn great, right? So great, in fact, that CBS has picked up the freshman hit for a full season. That’s right, more Daniel Dae Kim, Scott Caan, Alex O’Loughlin and Grace Park goodness is on the way, so slather on that sunscreen and get to watchin’!
CBS also granted a full season to fellow newbies Blue Bloods, Mike & Molly, $#*! My Dad Says and The Defenders. Congrats to all, but especially to our good friends Daniel and Jerry O’Connell. We love you guys.
I had read earlier that H50 was getting the most DVR views of any new show, so its number of viewings across the entire week is much higher. Maybe that’s why they picked it up for the full season.
Great news, Vogue & David! Happy to hear that it at least got picked up for a full season…I dig it. Now let’s just keep our fingers crossed that it does equally as well in the 2nd half of the season…that’s really the “make-it or break-it” time. Moonlight got picked up for a full season – and then got cancelled in the spring. C’mon H50…break the curse of Alex O’Loughlin!
Hawaii 5-0 was gret! I had it taped/dvred and i finally watched it yesterday. Did anyone catch “Criminal Minds” this week I forgot to dvr it and wanna know if it was any good this week. On a side note, “Moonlight” was my favorite show besides “Las Vegas” (both got canceled way to early).
great*
@vin – Good to find someone who actually watched (and liked!) Moonlight! I loved that show – I even went and bought it on DVD when it came out, and still watch it from time to time when nothing good is on TV. Can’t help but wonder if it would still be around had it not been interrupted by that damn writer’s strike…or come a year or two later during the big vampire boom. Kinda stinks that no one else from that show (besides Alex) have really done anything since then – Jason Dohring guest starred on an episode of CSI, but I haven’t heard a peep out of Sophia Myles or Shannon Sossamyn. Really enjoyed that cast!
