I want more pro dances done by our pros and not these unknown dancers that the “stars” bring with them. I watch the show for them – even the ones that occasionally bug me. 
But if I can’t have that, how about THIS:
I'm a nerd and proud of it. Two degrees in geology also means I love BEER. :-) I'm also a Derek lover - proud of that too. So don't scream at those of us on this site and call us a bunch of "biased Derek-lovers" - it's just ME. :-) It may sound like I hate DWTS at times, but really, I'm just a snarky nitpicker from way back. And I'm cynical and jaded too. But I do love DWTS. :-)

As for the Pro numbers, I’m kind of mixed. I love seeing this season’s pros dancing. But, it’s fun to see some new blood come in too and pros from the past.
I have to say that last night’s results show was generally disappointing (except for Shakira and the Hoff). I didn’t think the info commercials were that funny. I hated how they did the elimination too. I mean come on….Jennifer and Derek didn’t make or deserve to be in the bottom three. It was all put on for drama. Do they think we are stupid?

May I suggest that we refrain from posting such terrible thoughts about one of our Pros? It doesn’t matter how you feel about them, as long as you can still show some respect for them here.
I am not saying that everyone can only talk about them in glowing terms, I’m saying that restraint and respect toward one that you may not like is necessary, and not the way that “some” of the people above have worded things.
Some of the comments I’ve read above mine could be considered slander, as well as incredibly mean and childish.
Heidi, I agree with you. I really watch the results shows to see our pros dance, which I love! And also to see what Brooke is wearing. Performance night is generally ball gowns and results night is generally a party dress.

I may not favor some dancers, but, I’d never wish them ill will and to die.

I’m with Vogue kinda mixed about the pro dances. I loved the dancers that danced to Georgia. Also I love when the pros show us that they can also dance other styles not just ballroom.
The infomercials made me laugh…easy steps was my favorite only because Derek comes with it…lol. if give the chance I would love to dance with Derek.
I didn’t think much about Jen and Derek in the bottom 3 but technically doesn’t mean they acutally were. As son as they said Bristol was safe I figured it would be Florence who when home.
I agree Lori no one deserves to be bullied like that.

People need to remember that DWTS is just a tv show…the stars and pros really have no bearing on our day to day life. It’s supposed to be FUN!

I agree! I used to get more excited for the results shows than I would for the Monday night performance shows because of the pro numbers. The pros are amazing (and the reason I watch!), and you don’t always get to see their full ability when they’re dancing with their celebrity partners. If I want to see contemporary, I’ll watch So You Think You Can Dance.
