Vogue, I’m changing the subject of your blog post here, hope you don’t mind…. Maks has started a personal blog, and his very first post is up, and there is a TON! of stuff jam-packed in there, that probably needs some chewing on here….. He’s very honest, open, and discusses SO MUCH that has happened over the last few weeks, and one EXTREMELY surprising statement toward the end… Surprising, but still not surprising, even though it’s not exactly stated….

Thank, Vogue for the ratings, and thanks Lori for the heads up on Maks” new blog. I just read it, and to be honest, I didn’t see anything really new. Same old Maks – never wrong! I think he’s just doing damage control to tell you the truth.
Very interesting blog from Maks. I am sure getting the impression that he may not be coming back.
Surprising to not see Glee in the top 20.
Lori, thanks. We’ve got his new blog up in a new post coming up and more. Stay tuned. 😉
You’re welcome Meggie!xx
Gahhhh! Both Glee & Hawaii 5-0 don’t make the top 20 AGAIN???? I’m sure the former is just fine, but the latter still worries me…I need more than just one measley season of Alex O’Loughlin! And Daniel Dae Kim is really starting to grow on me, too 😉
I watched the Pittsburgh/New England game while (no joke!) eating at The Cheesecake Factory in Scottsdale on Sunday night. It was a compelling game, not because I like either team, but because they’re my two LEAST favorite teams in the NFL, hehe 😉 I get the the feeling that’s the way a lot of people feel about those two teams in particular – teams you just kinda love to hate. I’m definitely getting geared up for the Colts vs. Patriots game this Sunday…if we can pull out a win in the clutch like we did last year, this city will go beserk. GO BLUE!!! 😀
I love what Maks said in his blog and completely support him. I seriously doubt if I will watch the show if Maks is not on it. I am also a big Tony fan, but the way I feel right now, I will pretty much be boycotting ABC.
I really believe the producers have taken a show that was not broken and broken it. I have a feeling that they will hearing from the DWTS fans for quite a while.
On a personal note, I am fiscally conversative & socially moderate, but I definitely believe the T-Party had an action plan to get Bristol to the finals to further their political agenda. Because of that, I will never vote for another T-Party candidate and certainly not for Sarah Palin in my life, and I doubt I’m the only person who feels that way.
I have always been supportive of Bristol, but her little press release on Monday, saying Maks hates her and was trashing her is a boldfaced lie to smear him and his name. He and Brandy have asked their fans to support Kyle, and that is what I will do.
The way I feel now, after Tuesday, I’m done with DWTS unless something dramatically changes.
Pat, you’re certainly not alone – I also consider myself a fiscal conservative and a fairly moderate republican, and I absolutely cannot stand the Palins. Whether or not the Tea Party has been solely responsible for Bristol’s continued presence on the show, I’m not sure (I know quite a few people who have been voting for her because she’s the “underdog” – my mother included)…but a friend on Twitter (who runs a hilarious American Idol blog, TopIdol) put it pretty aptly the other day: “Tea Party voting overtime for DWTS? Let ’em. Putting effort into crap reality tv show results undermines actual politics.” Even if they’re using the show as a launch pad for Sarah’s political ambitions, in the end I think it just makes them look like an even bigger joke and makes it harder for anyone to take them seriously. But yes, it does suck that it’s taken over the show in such a way. 🙁
