Dancing with the Stars Season 11 Finale Music
We’re finally here for the finale of Dancing with the Stars season 11. Since this is the DWTS music post, I’ll say that we had an average year for the music on Dancing with the Stars. There have been worse years, but the music wasn’t anything to write home about either. What do you think?
Well, now on to the music from the finale of Dancing with the Stars season 11.
Kyle & Lacey danced a Foxtrot to the song “Feeling Good” —Nina Simone
Kyle & Lacey danced a Freestyle to the song “Tootsee Roll” —69 Boyz
Bristol & Mark danced a Jive to the song “Move” by Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce, and Anika Noni Rose from the movie “Dreamgirls”
Bristol & Mark danced a Freestyle to the song “Cell Block Tango” —from Chicago
Jennifer & Derek danced a Paso Doble to the song “Habañera” —Georges Bizet
Jennifer & Derek danced a Freestyle to the song “Do You Love Me (Now That I Can Dance)” —The Contours
Impossible to vote for my favorite on Dancing with the Stars… Have tried for three hours, but cannot get through. The teaparty people must be indundating the website… Grrr…
I guess that’s one option. Or maybe it’s Jennifer and Kyle fans that are locking up the website.
Try it Tuesday morning…I believe you can vote online until noon on Tuesday
I use to be a strong fan of this show, but as an artist, I am disappointed that the three best dancers are not in the finals. If Bristol Palin wins it would be an insult to the integrity of the show.
Thanks John! My fave song last night was “Do You Love Me”. Excellent performance to go with and my fave of the night as well. 😀
And I’m with you being this was just an average year for music. Nothing outstanding. I thought they played Katy Perry too much too.

Ashton,
Thanks!! I knew some reader would pull through and help me out.
Vogue,
But Katy Perry’s so hot…or something.
No problem, John. I love that song. 🙂
They used this god-awful singing of habanera again. Bizet would be turning in his grave if he heard this arrangement and this singer. I liked the dancing, but as last season, this singer made me cringe. BTW – it’s habanera not habañera, the latter may be the name of the dance, but George Bizet is French, and Carmen is French opera, it’s “habanera from Carmen” not “song habañera” .
I don’t know who sings it in itunes reference above (don’t want to pay), but there are zillion good versions on YouTube.
DWTS needs to come with software to identify each computer so that it can only be used once. Each computer has an ip number. this will stop the stuffing the voting for one contestant.
IP addresses are much more complicated than that. Not to mention that the IP address is the same for the computers on the same network (often). For example, most university campuses are all the same IP address. Also, there are pretty simple ways to fake an IP address as well. So, even that can be gamed pretty easily. I’m sure the show has done a bunch of things too. Although, it’s not like the show cares that much I think.
