GMA announces the partners and everyone goes Twitter crazy with the pictures. For which I thank them.

Thanks Heidi and John! Kristie and Maks are hilarious. Great pics of Romeo and Chelsea. Mike is just plain hot. Looking forward to the season to start. Hopefully they will have the promo pics posted on ABC soon.
I’m thinking the promo pix could be posted as early as tomorrow…last season, the cast was announced on August 30, the pairs were announced on September 2, and the pictures (minus Sitch & Karina, who hadn’t even met yet) were posted on Sept 3. No worries, we’re keeping our eyes peeled for them – and we plan on doing a special version of “Who Wore it Better?” with them like we did last season. We had a lot of fun with that one
Random thoughts on the pics tweeted so far: Chelsea is TINY. I mean, really tiny – I wear a size 0, and she looks like she’s maybe a double-0. I would put money on it that Mark is gonna be flinging her around like a boomerang once he’s allowed to do lifts. But she is adorable
Romeo’s body language reads as a bit uncomfortable to me – hopefully he’s not trying to put up a front like his dad did. I really like Kendra’s eye makeup – and this may at first blush sound mean, but I’ve always thought Kendra looked better when other people did her makeup. She is pretty when she does her own, but I feel like she doesn’t enhance her eyes & lips enough…and she’s got great eyes and lips. She has always looked stunning in all the photo shoots I’ve seen her do. Petra is gorgeous – and I already know what dress she’s wearing 
The more I see of these folks the more I like the cast – although I was pretty happy with it to begin with. It may not be the explosively controversial one that we saw last year, but I’m betting Maks and Kirstie will be berry berry interesting together, and the rest seem like a fun group. I think Chelsie is strong-willed enough not to let Romeo walk all over her (she stood up to the ass, Jake). Not that Romeo is automatically going to be resistant – maybe he learned by watching his father bomb on the show that he has to listen to his pro.
Chelsea Kane is adorable. They do look super cute together (but I’m not a shipper so I’ll leave it at that!).
I am surprised there isn’t more Chris Jericho stuff about – he’s such a big personality that I hope that he lets it all shine through.
Maks and Kirstie are hysterical on twitter. Can’t wait to see them in the studio or on live tv. she is hysterical. No pics from ralph yet but hopefully he posts some soon. Petra is gorgeous as usual. Chelsea is taller than i though she would be. The lifts would be cool w her and mark.
@Fig – Yeah, I’m also a bit surprised that there hasn’t been more chatter from Cheryl & Chris. Maybe they’re trying to lay low and then surprise everyone – I think Cheryl & Gilles kinda did the same thing prior to season 8. Then they really made a splash when the show premiered and they blew everyone away. Or maybe they’re just so busy practicing that they haven’t had time to tweet
Chelsie Kane is tiny! I hope she won’t be like some of the previous models (I know she’s not a model), who were very thin and not strong, so they couldn’t do/ hold some of the moves. Susan Lucci also comes to mind.
Just my opinions. Petra is stunning. Kendra is beautiful. Chelsie and Romeo are going to be great together and she already seems pleased with him. Mike Catherwood is a HOTTY! Chelsea Kane already has the fish face down and she’s adorable and teeny. Kirstie and Maks are going to be FUN!! Here is hoping the rest of the couples start tweeting pictures soon.

Q – How come DWTS is able to recruit athletes that are legends and great singers like Nicole…but can’t recruit anyone worth mentioning from film? I guess the sitch, Audrina, Florence, Kendra, and 90210 kids r worth mentioning from TV; but film is the only area they’re not doing a good job. Am I right?
I liked last season’s cast so much more than this season. This season seems odd and much like S9.
This seasons cast has MUCH more personality than last season and for me its just better, my personal opinion. I mean some had personality ( David, Kyle, The Sitch but David and Sitch were barely there!
). Love this cast i mean Wendy Williams has more personality than half of last seasons cast combined! Thats one person, Just one ( really big not fat at all but just big ) person. 
Heck Wendy is awesome and shes really gonna bring out Tonys fun side like we saw with Melissa or Marissa J. Winoker. Getting really excited bout this cast! Gonna be a hoot and just think about the CHEESECAKE AWARDS!! 
Actually I take that back. Margaret and Florence had pretty good personalitys but theres kinda creeped me out at times.

Fox Trot and Cha-cha from what some of the celebs have said in various interviews. That’s usually what they start off with, I think. Right?
Gregg, The first night dances are Foxtrot and Cha Cha and its been confirmed on Karina’s twitter that Ralph and her are doing the Foxtrot other than that idk whose dancing what. Im excited cause I love Foxtrot and its a nice change up from Viennesse Waltz and Cha Cha which we’ve had on the first week for awhile now.
YEah the cha cha is usually first. I like the cha cha as the first dance. Its fun and cool and a good 1st dance I think. And the slower and less elaborate foxtrot is also a good 1st dance. Not too much to it. So Im excited to see. I wonder who got what>
Idk there may be further updates about whose dancing what on wikipedia which are gotten via twitter of celebs and pros but all I know is Ralph and Karina have Foxtrot.

Not to be dissing on last season or anything but these photoshoot pictures are miles ahead of last season. Idk last season no one really looked there BEST to me, they all looked good but could look better. These pictures are probably the HOTTEST photo shoots of all time as a whole ( It doesnt hurt that this seasons cast has so many more hot girls than last season or just..so many hot girls period
) All the female celebs look great! And ofcourse all our girl pros look AWESOME!! Karina looks way better with longer hair and Cheryl looks better ( to me ) with shorter hair. Kym always looks great and ofcourse Anna and Lacey lookin good too but am I the only noticing Chelsie?!?! She looks darn awesome! Gawsh so excited now. again.
