DWTS Season 12 – Wendy Williams Blogs About Her and Tony Dovolani’s First Meeting & More
Who’s ready for the celebrities and pros to start blogging on their dance experience this Season? I know I am. Wendy (or someone in her camp) started a blog this week at her official site dedicated to Dancing With The Stars. So far, Wendy has been updating it every day with something….and with things from her show that she might feature. For example, while they can’t show Wendy and Tony’s actual first meeting, you can see how she prepares for it below. LOL She’s going to be a hoot!

Speaking of John O’hurley…what happened to his partner Carlotta?
Love the ring, Carrie Ann is going to be jealous (or maybe Bruno). And ahh, remember John O’Hurley? Season one and the first DWTS voting block controversy. Those darned soap opera watchers.
I miss John too…even though I’m a GH fan, I was totally pulling for he & Charlotte to win. I think they may have been the original victims of the “crappy freestyle” phenomenon – I thought they were miles ahead of Kelly & Alec that whole season, but did an extremely boring freestyle while Kelly & Alec’s was much more entertaining.
As for Charlotte, we did have a “Where are they now?” feature in the works for some of the pros that are no longer on the show, but I think it has since been scrapped due to lack of interest. However, I did hear that Charlotte got married in 2008, and she and her husband were working on a website for some new exercise consulting company they had started. I also hear she is still teaching & coaching quite a bit. Interesting fact: Charlotte was asked back for a 2nd season as a pro, but declined because she said she’d rather cohost the show with Tom. I guess TPTB weren’t interested and took Samantha Harris instead. I kind wish they’d taken Charlotte on as a cohost…she would have at least had a bit of ballroom background to cull from.
I think Wendy and Tony have a good relationship already. They seem real comfortable with each other. From Wendy herself shes not the greatest dancer so Tony will have a tougher time. But he seems like a patient dude and Wendy seems eager to learn so it should be interesting
