DWTS Season 12 – Kirstie Alley, Kendra Wilkinson, & Ralph Macchio Interviewed & Dance During Photo Sessions (Video)

This is such a fun video of of Kirstie, Kendra, and Ralph and their partners being interviewed by ET Online during their official Dancing With The Stars photo sessions last week. Hey, they can all three dance and shake their booties in my opinion. Maks and Kirstie are so funny!

DWTS Season 12 – Hines Ward Excited To Be Out Of His Comfort Zone & Wants That Mirror Ball Trophy

“I don’t know what I got myself into but I want to win that Mirror Ball Trophy. I can’t say who my partner is going to be yet, but let’s just say – she’s the bomb:) I’m excited to compete outside of my comfort zone.” Hines Ward quote and picture above from his Facebook Page.

Sports Radio Interview also has a cool interview up with Hines Ward. In the interview, he talks about never dancing before, his partner Kym, a little on their first dance, the new challenge, and more. See a snippet below. But, be sure to check the link for more especially if you are a football fan to him. I like how he has a new found respect for ladies who wear high heels. This pair is going to be fun to watch as well!

Just how good of a dancer is he?
“Oh, I like to cut up the rug at the club. But I’ve never ballroom danced before. That’s a whole other level itself. The good thing about is nobody’s ever ballroom danced before.”

On how he got on the show — was he contacted or did his associates approach the show:
“Yeah my marketing team came to them and they threw my name in the panel. And with a lot of hard work and negotiation and stuff like that, they thought I’d be a pretty good fit for the show. So when they came to me and asked me, I really didn’t know because when you see it on television you say oh I can do that. But I’ve started, I’m on my third day of practice and I don’t know what I’ve signed up for. You’re hitting the uncertainty or the unknown areas. But all in all, It’s going well. I’ve got a great partner, she’s very encouraging. We’re almost halfway through our whole routine so things are looking good.”

After hearing about how much practice he’s been doing (up to five hours some days), Ward was asked if he is married?
“No.”

But would he agree that it might be awkward to spend that much time around a beautiful woman if he were married?
“No, it’s not like that. Kim [Johnson, his dancing partner] is cool. You know, at first, it was just a respect trying to feel each other out. It’s like a cool relationship because she’s from a different country. Last night she said I had to throw my hand back, and I was like oh kind of like you’re going to pimp slap someone. She didn’t know what that was. She was like pimp, what’s a pimp? So it’s just a good relationship. I’m going to be with her for a long time, hopefully all the way until the championship. So I would never cross the line as far as jeopardizing our relationship. I’m in it to win it. I want to win that trophy.”

Whether there’s a first dance or first few dances that he’s preparing for right now:
“I can’t reveal the first dance, but it’s definitely something that I’ve never come across before. But I’m picking it up pretty fast. You know, it’s easy because we’re looking at ourselves in the mirror so it’s like a whole day using that mirror to try to get synchronized to make sure we’re on the same page and same beat so it looks good on television.”

Whether it is as good a workout as some say it is:
“It is. It definitely is. Just going through the whole workout, it’s definitely the shoes. I get a better understanding and new found respect for all the ladies who wear high-heeled shoes. It’s amazing what they go through. So almost every night I’m soaking my feet for precautionary reasons, because I’m starting to feel the soreness on the balls. So I understand what all the females go through when they go out and purchase that new pair of shoes.”

DWTS Season 12 – Las Vegas Odds For This Week & Name Predictions

How are the Las Vegas Odds stacking up for this week? Take a look below for what SportsBoDog.com is predicting. As you can see, they’ve changed their odds a little since our post last week. But, they still have Kendra winning.

Chelsea Kane 9/2
Chris Jericho 10/1
Hines Ward 11/2
Kendra Wilkinson 3/1
Kirsti Alley 9/1
Lil’ Romeo 11/2
Mike Catherwood 14/1
Petra Nemcova 14/1
Ralph Macchio 7/2
Sugar Ray Leonard 6/1
Wendy Williams 7/1

Kerrie Hopkins of Namezook predicts who will win the show by the celebrities “names”. Surprisingly, Kerrie has been pretty accuate in the past. So much so, major TV Networks have hired her to ‘speculate on team interactions and probable outcomes’ in the past. Check out what she predicts for “Dancing With The Stars” this year. She is picking Romeo and Chelsie to win. Interesting, huh?

Based on this new cast of characters, Hopkins asserts that “Ralph Macchio will need anger management classes after dealing with his team mate Karina Smirnoff. Kirstie Alley is voted most likely to swear during rehearsal, Kendra Wilkinson is voted most likely to cry throughout rehearsal and when receiving criticism from the judges. Both Chelsea Kane and Wendy Williams are most likely to have wardrobe malfunctions and will have the quick wit to laugh their way out of the conflict. Petra Nemcova and partner Dmitry Chaplin will be so full of kindness that in between rehearsals they’ll look for lost puppies.”

To show how detailed Onomalogy is, Hopkins says every fragment of a name makes a difference; slight changes in a name signal a different outcome. “For example, the two Chelsea’s in this competition are significantly different from each other. While they both love to embellish a story and love fun, a ‘Chelsie’ is about working and obtaining money, while a ‘Chelsea’ is more concerned with being admired and appreciated.”

When asked who will win – Hopkins says, “Overall – based on their names and teammate names – Romeo and his spirited, live wire partner Chelsie Hightower will win. Romeo wants respect, recognition and will do whatever it takes to win. His partner Chelsie is capable, motivated by money and will keep him laughing as he learns his routines.”

DWTS Season 12 – Romeo Miller Will Promote Special Message On DWTS

FreddyO is reporting Romeo will promote a special message on the show and here is what it will be.

“This is a great opportunity for me to get this message out that we have to save our children, it is not okay that we have this happening in America.” Romeo points out that the average high school dropout barely makes enough money to survive, adding that an education is important for not only the individual, but the nation as well.

I never knew much about this rapper before he got picked to do Dancing With The Stars, but, I have to say I am impressed for what I’m hearing on him so far.

He and Chelsie might be a major force in this competition too. I’m really getting excited to see them dance. Bring it on I say. I love that fierce, determined look in his eyes.
