I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. Love Kirstie and her humor. She is going to go far on the show. Kendra could give chelsea a run for her money…..that girl can dance. Ralph is a dark horse i think since people expect Jerhico to get farther than him. I think its gonna be the opposite.

Looks like Kendra got some moves and pictures I’ve seen of Chelsea and Romeo are great. I agree with you Vin, I think Ralph is going to be a dark horse. Not only is he the sentimental favorite (similar to Jennifer), but what I saw on the clip, he can move and he will only get better as practice and weeks go on. His Karate training will sure come in handy for the jive.
I watched the original karate kid last night again (i have the vhs still lol). he doesn’t look different from his teenage days at all. ageing has been good to him lol.
What a fun post, Vogue. I’m getting SO excited for this season to begin (I need to get a life!). I like everyone this season and am looking forward to seeing each team dance. Bring on the rehearsal videos already! Kirstie can move better than I had thought she would, and she and Maks seem to have great chemistry – they are a hoot
and will keep us in stitches no matter what. Kendra is cute, will look fabulous in the costumes, and sure has that bootie pop down – hope Louis steps up because I agree with everyone here – he seems, at first blush, to be her biggest hurdle. And look at Ralph groove those moves! Definitely the sentimental favorite and possibly the dark horse of this season. Or will Petra come out of nowhere and surprise us with her dancing? Perhaps Tony will show us the beautiful dancer within Wendy? Or will Mike prove to be the ideal partner for Lacey? To repeat the general sentiment – each team has an equal shot at the Mirror Ball trophy this season, and I love it! Let’s see how we all feel after the premier!
You are not alone Linde, I am looking forward to the season to start as well and all the celebs have a great shot at the Mirror Ball Trophy. The only one I see that might not make it far would be Petra. She might surprise us and dance well, but with little media on her since the announcement, smaller fan base compared to the others and a Pro who does not have TV personality, I’m afraid the odds are not in her favor. Though Mike is in the same boat as Petra of not having a huge fan base going into the competition, he least has Lacey who has a lot of personality and strong following.

I feel Kendra on the booty-popping – that seems to be my strength too, lol. I am going to start ballroom lessons soon and I fear that my club butt grind isn’t going to help me much in the waltz.
