DWTS Season 12, Week 1 – Who’s Dancing What…And When??
Whoo Hooo, it’s almost time!! And I am absurdly excited for the show to get started when you consider my favorite boy won’t be present. 
I hope these peeps give us Cheesecake material – really, is it possible there WON’T be some??
Anyway, our first dances of Season 12 are the Foxtrot and the Cha Cha Cha – who will be the poor sap to Cha Cha Cha onto the floor first?? Check back here often, I’ll add info as it becomes available. REMEMBER, just because someone is dancing first, it no longer is absolutely certain that will be their phone number. Last couple of seasons they’ve set the dance order, set the phone numbers, and then ended up switching up the dance order based on something they saw in camera blocking or for some other obscure reason.

So there will be 6 cha, cha’s and 5 Foxtrots which probably means a Cha, Cha will start and end the evening, unless there will be two back to back somewhere during the night.

Can’t wait to see Dmitry and Petra dance. I hope Petra will take the rehearsals very seriously, learns the dances, and works hard at it instead of giggling and acting silly during rehearsals and not let Dmitry down since this is his first season back. Dmitry is a fantastic dancer and I will definitely vote for him and Petra!
This is getting so exciting! I really think we r going into a great season with the potential to be the best yet dont yall think??
The pre-season has been so fun and all of you posters have VASTLY contributed to that, so…THANKS! And as for Princess Heidi, Courtney, Vogue, John and Marianya, well lets just say yall are ” The bomb!! “. Heres to season 12!!!

No, not necessarily, Carlos. That’s what I was saying – last year at least three couples first week dance order did not match their phone numbers. Same with the season before.

Kirstie’s phone number could well correlate to her dance order – wouldn’t surprise me one bit if she were to dance last. I would almost guarantee it
is ABC making everyone register their email address to keep people from voting for hundreds of not their own email addresses ? to limit the voting to one addres per voting session?
That leaves two Cha-Chas – Hines and Wendy. I’d predict Hines to start, as did another football Chad in Season 10, and last year the fun third spot went to Kyle, can see Wendy fitting this.
I think you can still vote as many email addresses as you want, as long as they are valid email addresses. I don’t think it will slow the power voters down at all. They’re not going to want to lose any hits to their site that voting generate. If they wanted to limit to one per session, there are ways to do it. But no – they want lots of votes.

Hines Ward tweeted that his #is 3403, that would leae Wendy Williams & Chelsea Kane. I think Wendy Williams will be 1st because she is doing the Cha, Cha. As far as I can remember they “always” start off with a Latin dance.

Interesting. I know that the voting numbers aren’t necessarily indicative of the running order, but if they are this time – it kinda makes sense. Put your biggest ratings draw (Kirstie) at the end of the show, and 2 moderately popular stars at the beginning & midpoint of the show (Chelsea & Sugar Ray). I’m wondering if they may have wanted Hines to go first instead, but had to change the order due to camera blocking or whatnot. Just seems odd to me that they’d start with a foxtrot – I feel like they’ve almost always started (and ended!) with a cha-cha on the first night. If Wendy & Petra’s voting numbers correspond with their running order – yikes. Both seem to be the weakest dancers this season, and both may be stuck with crap running order positions. Not a good sign for them.
