I figured we needed a location to talk during and after the show ABOUT the show, until Courtney gets her Power Rankings done.

There are no Spoilers here, so if you don’t want to know, DON’T READ! I don’t want to hear any complaining just cuz ya’ll can’t turn off the computer.

All I am going to say, is that the ones I liked going into the season did GREAT!

A couple of the pros left me cold, won’t mention why right now, and one celeb/pro pair didn’t seem lime they were really warm and welcoming to others on the floor. I saw a weak little clap, and no smiles for at least one of their other contestants.

What I think is a combonation of nerves nad emotions REALLY ruined Wendy’s dance its was stiff, not cha cha-y enough, not to mention the water works wouldnt stop Wendy has Quickstep next week and I really hope we will see the real Wendy with the Jersey huge personality and stuff I think she will do better in Quickstep but she really needs to work if she wants to even come close to going the distance. Fortanantly for these two…someone stank even more who also is MUCH more unheard of… and Stinkyness…Thy name is Mike Catherwood and your partner who needs to learn how to use hair color in a way that is not ilegal in some states This was a rough rough ride hear for ole Phsyco, and the song choice was almost as bad as Boom Boom Pow last season for a Foxtrot. This guy was the epidemy of stiff and it was just not good and them roots on Lacey…..She might as well just wear a sign that says ” I get mah hair done in a trailer park ” ( no offense at all to anybody that lives in one just trying to make a point ). Between this BAD dance, his unfamiliarity, and her hair They could be the first to go but what do i know? xD

Wow Ralph and Kirstie were amazing. It does seem like a lot more of an even playing field, but there were some disappointments. I’m actually surprised that a lot of the front runners were kind of disappointing.

Hines, Ralph & KIrstie did WooHoo great … YAY!!! I was a little worried about Ralph, but he was really good. Let’s hope they can all survive next week. Both the Quickstep and Jive are difficult, especially for Week 2.

Wendy … ai ai ai. Pretty much as bad as I thought we would see.

Somehow I thought Mike would be better. Ditto for Chris. Chelsea did good, as did Kendra and Romeo – these 3 should all be back week after next. Sugar Ray did OK and should have enough voting juice to stay past the first elimination. And Wow, Petra looked pretty good as well. She surprised me.

Wendy or Mike to go home next week. Wendy’s fan base may be the deciding factor in Mike being the first to go.

I pretty much agree with the judges scoring tonight and believe they have each team ranked as it should be. I may ordered couple of teams in the middle a bit differently (I liked Kendra better than Chris and Sugar Ray better than Petra), but all in all as I saw it.

wow abc, I don’t even like wendy and kendra. you underscored kendra and I was embarrassed for poor wendy. Her son will be so teased in school tomorrow. BTW, would it have killed ABC to let America see Maks greet Brandy after his dance with Kirstie? They angled the camera like they did his kiss with Brandy after their cha-cha. She is his closest and best liked dancing partner. Accept it ABC. I, like Cameron and DennisD will be done for this season if this keeps up.

I am pleasantly surprised at the performance of Kirstie. She may win the season if she keeps doing as well as her cha-cha. I’m sure she will keep improving under Maks’ excellent tutelage. ABC give them the MBT this season. After Mel B and Brandy you owe Maks that much.

It probabably is just a good friendship, but that doesn’t change the fact that brandy was cheated outright because Abc and too much of america didn’t want her to win with Maks.

One more thing I have to say I owe Kirstie an apology. She is far from being clumsy. She is wrong about needing to be 22 and a size 0. I think I am going to have to make her my favorite dancer for my favorite pro, Maks. Kirstie keep up the good dancin’. She may have to change the meaning of that G from grandma to gangsta LOL.

Staceyk, like it or not, ABC isn’t depriving Maks of anything – the voters are. Not showing a good camera angle so you could see him greet Brandy?? Come on – it’s the same angle they’ve used since the got the Celebraquarium.

@staceyk – What makes you so sure that “ABC too much of America did not want her [Brandy] to win with Maks”? Awfully big assumption, m’dear…what incentive would either group have to try and sabotage Brandy & Maks? Brandy was not cheated – she just didn’t get the votes, PERIOD.
