I’m with you Vogue….my vote was a VERY STRONG NO!!!! I tried to watch it again today thinking maybe it had improved overnight…it didn’t! I have to admit to re-watching Kirstie and Maks a couple (10 or 20) of times!!! Have really come to LOVE that song and dance.
Not only did I vote NO – I hated it! I’ve been watching Dancing with the Stars since the first season. This is the first time I hated an entire show.
While I’m venting: What’s with the prejudiced judging? It seems that Ralph can’t do ANYthing right, and Hines can’t do ANYthing wrong. Waaaaay out of balance! Like the judges have made their minds up before the dance.

And I’ve been watching Kirstie and Maks over again too this afternoon. They are the ony couple I want to put on repeat. That says “something”, doesn’t it?

Could we PLEASE get off the theme weeks and go back to dancing? The only part of last night I enjoyed was Maks with his shirt off. Big thumbs down for last night! I miss my old, awesome DWTS.
I’ll dare to dream… NO MORE theme nights, NO MORE Kendra, and NO MORE crack for the judges!

Snoozer is the word that describes patriotism night. This night is the most memorable in a negative way.

I voted NONONONONO!!! but I will say that with QUITE A FEW drastic changes, it could be the fantastic episode it should have been!!
First… The judges should set forth exactly what they are looking for, for each dance, and then look for that, and ONLY that. And while I am dreaming big, give their guidelines for what constitutes what score. And no more hormonal judging, please.
Second…. Songs MUST fit the assigned dance, and the judges will LET THEM DANCE TO THE THEME!!
I know there are more, but I can’t think of them right now…
Oh crud. Another theme next week due to instill train wrecks. Guilty pleasures. Can we kill themes right now?

Hideous song choices, Samba to Sweet Home Alabama, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? They changed the lyrics to God Bless the USA from stand up next to you to stand up for myself? Ugh! I’m sure Lee Greenwood is thrilled. The singing was atrocious! And for the DWTS stars producers, NEWSFLASH: American Woman is an ANTI-AMERICAN SONG! What are you guys smoking over there? The singing was horrible! Why do there have to be “theme” weeks? Why can’t they just dance to songs that are, here you go producers, are you listening: MUSIC THAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR THE DANCES! DUH! They wouldn’t dream of dancing to these ridiculous songs in ballroom competition, so why are we doing it here?
