DWTS Season 13 Rumors!! Ashley Hebert
For the (fortunately) uninitiated, Ashley is the current Bachelorette. Ashley is a sweet girl and she’s already a pretty good dancer, although I don’t know if she has any kind of formal training other than college. I would put her in the category of Melissa and Erin, I think. Only problem is – she’s The Bachelorette, which is kinda gag inducing. And that show isn’t making her look like the sharpest tool in the shed, if you get my meaning. 
I think she’s also a tiny little thing, so I would see her with Derek, Mark or Louis….or Damian, I suppose.

A source tells HollywoodLife.com that ‘The Bachelorette’s’ Ashley Hebert is in negotiations to join ‘Dancing with the Stars’!
Ashley Hebert might be following in the footsteps of Melissa Rycroft. The Bachelorette star has been offered a spot on the new season of Dancing with the Stars, a source tells HollywoodLife.com. “The show executives would love to have her on for next season, and so they’ve asked if she will join the cast.” So is Ashley going to sign on?
“They are in negotiations, and it is definitely hers if she wants it,” our DWTS insider tells us.
Wow, my boss and I were just talking about this girl at work today. I can’t wait to see if this comes true!!
If you read some her bios she has had quite a bit of ‘extensive dance traning’ , as a child and throughout her schooling. Growing up she studied dance at the Main Street School of Dance in Edmundston, and at the University of Maine she was the Captain of the Dance Team and received a biology degree with a minor in dance. She is also listed as a dance instructor.
I can hear it now we all know the word ( ).
I don’t usually know who the bachelor/bachelorette people are but I think that this could be the next Mellissa Rycroft if she does the show. If she does the show, I would pair her with Derek or Louis. I can’t see her paired with Mark.
Eh, Sandy, that’s no more “dance training” than more than half a dozen other women who have been on the show – Melissa and Erin were both on their “dance teams” and more likely than not danced while growing up. Teaching children to dance is like teaching them math – most adults could probably do it. Sabrina, Mel B, Nicole – all dancers to some degree or another. So what, at this point, as long as it’s not ballroom? NO ONE will care how much training she has unless she has DEREK as a partner. Or maybe Mark – although he’s had more actual ringers than Derek has and never seems to take any heat for it at all.
I know Heidi, I really dont care, but Im just saying she will be called a ringer right out of the gate.
But seriously, these bachelor romances have a terrible track record of success. I really dont see the benefit of her spending all this time on DWTS this season and not focusing on her new man and her new dental career.
I can’t recall a season of the Bachelor/Bachelorette since Melissa where one of the cast members WASN’T a casting rumor for DWTS. Seriously – they did it with Ali & Roberto, I’ve heard Tenley’s name kicked around for awhile now, Vienna, Jake – you name it. Just watch – we’ll be hearing Brad Womack’s name soon, too. And I doubt any of this will materialize into anything legit. Like Mark’s polka dot jive costumes, it’s become a DWTS cliche – the “Bachelor/Bachelorette” casting rumor.
Well, since Jake and Melissa both DID compete (and Vienna did end up doing one dance) that makes it about 2.25 for 6 – not a bad percentage at all. I won’t dismiss it quite that easily.
And Sandy – you’re assuming that she went on the Bachelorette sincerely to find a husband.
I never make that assumption any more.
I don’t they’ll cast a bachelor/bachelorette unless there’s drama during the season. Melissa was cast last minute plus her ex fiance dumped her on tv. Jake picked the most controversial fiancee. I haven’t been following the bachelorette this season so I don’t know what’s going on.
@Heidi – I know the Bachelor franchise is so fake. Absolutely I do. There is almost zero chance of it working out. But doing DWTS would take maybe 3 to 4 more months of her life. She would almost literally have to jump from one project to another with very little down time in between after all the Bachelorette media appearances once the show is finished. I thought she wanted to be a Dentist? Or is she just looking to be a star? Only time will tell I guess.

Well, actually, taping of “The Bachelorette” is over a week or two before the show starts airing on TV, so she would have…about 2.5 months off between the two shows. And if your goal is to be on TV, then that 3 months of DWTS is a dream come true.
And Ten, there has been some faux drama this season already – for those who actually get emotionally invested, anyway.
I’m not saying it’s Going to happen – I’m just saying I haven’t heard a good reason (yet) why it WON’T.
How surprising, a Reality TV star! Has anyone written a book on this phenomenon. Yes, yesterday’s stars were discovered in Hollywood or models became actresses (Grace Kelly, Ali McGraw et al et al) drug stores, but it is still amazing to me that someone like Audrina Patridge is a STAR.

I think Ashley should do the show. A few of her dates have been based around dancing.
As for her being a ringer, I wouldn’t consider her one even though she does have training, she doesn’t really have a fanbase. I think “Ringer” I think of someone who’s a “dancer” before the show and with a fanbase, but that’s just me.
As for who she’d be partnered with, I’d say Louis who has experience with bachelorettes, he did dance with Trista.
Louis??? Nah! She’d be great with Derek.
Usally im not a big fan of The Bachelor people being put on this show. I like her and I can see her being someone America could really bond with and shes also hot.
I wanna see her with Damian or Derek. Not Mark. I use to like Chelsea Staub/Kane but after her and Mark I still think blaaaahhh.

I’m sure that there are plenty for old sitcom stars , boy/girl band members, sports stars, and other entertainers, etc to fill all the DWTS slots.
If they can’t dance–I at least want them to be able to entertain me! LOL

I’d much rather see Emily and Im pretty sure half of America would agree. Even the guys on her show wanted Emily why wouldn’t DWTS?
Half of America doesn’t give a rat’s ass about either Ashley OR Emily – or even know who the hell they are.
