DWTS Dance of the Day- A Preview
Heidi’s Note: Everyone welcome Lori!!
If you are anything like me, you go into withdrawl once we have to wait for MONTHS! for it to come back!!!
Thank GOODNESS for videos, because they provide a way to let us see those dances that we want to see again… And again, and again, and again!! And, thanks to Princess Heidi for posting Derek Dancing videos over on her other site, for inspiring the Dance of the Day HERE!
So, with the Season over, I will try to post DWTS Performance videos a few times a week. They may be randomly chosen, or they may be something I want to see again. And I will take suggestions, and IF I can find it, I may put it on the list to post. We’ll get to see again the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly… So we will be seeing Marie’s Infamous Doll Dance… Maybe.
I have been trying to figure out how this will work, I am open to some ideas. Right now, since we have had 12 seasons, and there are A LOT! of past performances, I think we’ll try to have theme weeks. If there’s any videos you’d love to see again, please let me know in the comments.
ANY SEASON! And please, PERFORMANCE SHOWS only, even though I LOVE watching the wonderful Pro dances we’ve seen over the years… And to make things easier for me, please be as specific as possible to make it easier for me to find the dance.

I love watching dwts, my favorite show and I have everybody I know watching it, I have a fan page on myspace, check it out, pictures, blogs, videos, and any news I find I can keep my fans updated, I missed the address Tom announced about if we know any body with a story, might get aired on dwts, like Tayla Kelley or the Tuita Boys, I like that web site info, please, send to dwts_Fan_Phyllismcmullen@yahoo.com
Hey, I’d like to see the 1st.off get a chance to try again with all the other 1st.offs, even the 2nd. place,or 3rd. face off all the 2nd.or 3rd, place dancers would be COOL,
As much as I disliked Karina’s animal print outfit this past season, I am reminded again how much I liked Julianne’s outfit in her samba with Apollo! Thanks for posting so I could see it in action again!

These are a brilliant selection – it’s lovely to see a random mix of videos. Don’t know if you could link in to Vogue’s post about people voting for their favourite couples and dances? – It would certainly provide a very fertile starting place.
Agree with @phyllis that a great idea would be to compare winners from different seasons. Also it might be good to compare different people’s performances in weeks of the competition? (I mean lots of stars in week 1 or the semi finals) Or you could compare lots of stars in different dance styles?
To be honest if you keep the dances coming, it would be good!
Wow Lori, you bring back great memories. I am loving seeing Maks long hair slicked back and in a pony tail again. <3 <3 I loved him and Willa!! Looking back, he seems so much tamer and raw.

LOVES THIS IDEA! We could take it further and make POLLS so we could vote on our favorites.

The idea of comparing top 3 from s1 – s12 is a great idea. I’d love to see that.
Great thought for a series of posts. There are so many videos out there, it’s too much to slog through to find the best – you can do it for us Lori – Thanks!!
Agree, comparisons would be really cool. The ones mentioned (top threes, dances, by week) are great. I think I’d like to add to that the same dance/same pro with different stars. I might leave out theme weeks as it changes how they choreograph, but it would be interesting to see how similar their dances are or if they really do customize for their stars. Multiple seasons of Mark’s short pants in the jive, whether Derek’s cha-chas are all the same (or if he just dresses them the same…), how much walking/time wasting Maks does in his dances (or was it just Kirstie and a little Brandy), cheryl’s freestyles – there have been lots of comments that her dances have become less innovative as the seasons go by….

Great choices!! If you go to youtube and type in “codebear4″, the person has a youtube channel with every season and their dances. Idk if you guys knew about that but they are really good quality too so it will make your job so much easier. Anyways, great job Lori!!!
