As promised, here is another Dancing With The Stars Questionnaire. Like the first questionnaire, answer these questions to best of your ability. Some of these question’s don’t have to necessarily be answered with your favorite dancer, but, with the best dancer to match each catagory. In fact, your least favorite dancer might fit into one of these catagories more than anyone else? Also, try to answer with just one dancer. But, you can list a few “honorable mentions” too. Ok, I’ll start us off:
1. Most “compassionate” pro dancer: Derek! Honorable mentions: Anna and Maks!!
2. Most “creative” pro dancer: Derek! Honorable mentions: Mark and Lacey (even though they aren’t my favorite dancers and I’m not always approving of their creativity.)
3. “Sexiest” pro dancer on Dancing With The Stars? MAKS! Honorable Mention: Derek and Alec
4. If your best friend were to hold a big birthday bash in your honor and they were to hire 4 pros or celebrites to exclusively dance, who would you want to dance?: Maks, Derek, Madonna, and back up dancer Cloud
5. If you were to have a pro dancer teach you how to dance and you were to dance on the show, who would that be?: This is hard. Even though Maks and Derek are my favorite dancers, I’m not sure I’d fit well with them? I think I’d want Dmitry or Alec.
6. Marathon Dance Rounds?: YES!!! I’d die and go to heaven with another Mambo Marathon!

Movies….geez, too many to name. Anyone else love The Big Lebowski?? Me, Courtney and Evaine were talking about great dance movies on twitter the other night and Evaine reminded me of White Nights, which I love. Also, White Christmas, Holiday Inn, Singing in the Rain…the list goes on. All before my time, but amazing!!

Who was it that suggested the mambo marathon? That’s a good one. I gotta say, I got pretty tired of the cha-cha this season. It seemed like they were doing something with it every week. Mix it up!

Margaret, Heidi and I were wondering why Derek is in Brooklyn too. You know Heidi and her 6th sense. She thinks it has something to do with Cobu3D …maybe he’s scoping out promo locations for photo shoots, videos, etc. They still have to put a soundtrack for the movie together too. I think, Margaret and Vogue, that he’s doing some exteriors for Cobu 3D – it’s supposed to be set in NYC after all. Yeah, the rest of the cast wrapped a few days ago, but apparently a background person told a friend on twitter that they had some exteriors to do in NYC. Since he spent most of yesterday in the vicinity of the Brooklyn Bridge (going by his tweets and someone who saw him), that would be my guess.
The invites are for celebrities. The pros often don’t know until shortly before the announcement. Some do, if their celeb gets signed early enough.

My first instinct is to say Anna, but there’s a little voice inside me that says that under that no-nonsense exterior, Maks is just as compassionate.

1. Who do you feel is the most “compassionate” pro dancer on Dancing With The Stars?
I’m going with Deek Hough on this one because he seems to find just the right balance with his partners. He is very supportive but knows when to back off and let his partners have their emotional moments. And he doesn’t give fuel to feed into the “poor me” behavior/attitude either.

Derek Hough….anyone sensing a pattern here? Guess these questions help to explain JUST WHY Derek is my favorite. I love how he can be very sexy without compromising the dance. What I mean is that he doesn’t use it as a cover for bad technique, etc.

No—I want the old GROUP DANCES back. Those were fun and a better showcase than the Marathon Dance.
