Could Dina Lohan be in talks to dance on Dancing With The Stars? According to Page Six of the New York Post, Lindsay Lohan’s mom was overheard talking about her plans to appear on the show at a party this weekend…
Dina Lohan says she’s in talks to appear on “Dancing With the Stars.” On Sunday, Lindsay Lohan’s mom was overheard talking about her plans to appear on the ABC show as she celebrated her daughter’s birthday at a private house in Water Mill dubbed the Ciroc Cabana Club. Lindsay had been expected to join, but she stayed in LA to remain low-key after completing her house arrest.
This isn’t the first time Dina has been rumored to dance. Rumors surfaced last year on this possibility as well when Lindsay suggested to producers that her mother dance on the show.
So what do you think and which dancer do you see with Dina if this comes true? Do you consider Dina to even be a “star”? As you know, this isn’t the first time the show has taken someone and made them a “star”. It worked wonders for Bristol Palin. (Not!)
Personally, I’d rather see Lindsay dance versus her Mom. The opportunity could work wonders for Lindsay’s career not to mention getting the public’s approval back on her side? If Dina dances, I see her paired with Tony. But, let’s not forget Tony said last year he’d love to see Lindsay dance on the show!

No Dina. Please. No Dina. Please!!!! How would they bill her? Wait, wasn’t she in talks for a reality show, hawking her children’s wares? How well did that go for her? Sorry, I am feeling negative, and I honestly and truly DON’T want her with Tony.
Lindsay? Well….. She is definitely available. But, and this is a HUGE one for me, IF she is on, whoever is partnered with her should make sure to coordinate with drug/ alcohol counseling so that she can learn tonreplace the bad addictions with something that could help to keep her alive for a few more years.
And I apologize for my negative post, I really hate talking like this, I just had a really busy day. No excuse, but it’s all I have.
Dina is the famewhore of all famewhores. God, I hope this is just her lying and being a blowhard. This is worse than Bristol!! At least Bristol had gained some notoriety of her own.
Dina is in no way a “star”. That would be a worse choice than Bristol and Lori is right, there is no good way to bill her. Hope the producers are not that desperate.
This is an easy one : Yes t Linday and no to Dina. Dina seems annoying and insane so just no. Dina vs Lindsay is a nice idea but it could be detrimental to Lindsay’s mental health and we all know what she does when she is stressed out/in crazy mode. At least Lindsay is a star for being talented (her acting is actually good but her other stuff overshaoowed it lately). Dina is just famous for arguing with Lindsay’s father and being Linday’s mother. Saying that, I would like ot say one positve thing about Dina: Thank goodness Lindsay looksl ike her because Dina is quite pretty. If she had to do the show I would pair her with Jonathan or Tony and pair Lindsay with Dymetry or Tony (I would say Derek but I think she is taller than him). Either way I would pair Tony with a Lohan.
On a side note maybe Lindsay vs Hillary Duff on the show? THAT I would LOVE to see since they apparantly ddin’t get along in the past and fought over aaron carter.

Oh Lord, I hope neither of them come on the show. The daughter is in dire need of help, serious help, away from Hollywood, away from everything and the mother should be the first one pushing for it.

I totally agree with all the previous comments/posts: a big no to Dina being on the show! I wondered the same thing, what title would they give her?? Unless DWTS is trying to create a spin-off series, Dancing with the Relatives of Stars, she should not be on the show.LOL! And, IF she is, please, please, please don’t pair her with Tony. I SO want Tony to get another great partner again!
Please, no Dina. That’s really pushing the definition of “star.” Makes the show look a little desperate. Would have to re-title it “Dancing With People You May Have Heard Of.” Lindsey, on the other hand– perhaps the discipline and physical exercise required by the show, combined with D/A counseling, would be just what she needs. Dina and Tony ??? Give the poor guy a break! He already went above and beyond for them with Hateful Kate.

On a side note – despite DWTS being a wildly popular show – and my unabashed favorite – I’ve been wondering if Ralph’s treatment last season has made some potential contestants reluctant to sign on? IMO, Ralph was almost perfect for the show – great fan base, good dancer, and a throughly nice person. Who would want to risk putting themselves through that? If it is true, maybe they are having to scrape the bottom to get a cast….

Well, Candace, Tony may have had Kate…but he also had Melissa and Audrina. People tend to forget those two, not to mention ppl from the early seasons.
Oh Lindsay! I really did enjoy a lot of her acting, and DWTS could be just the thing she needs … but I really doubt TPTB would ever hire someone as controversial and troubled as her.

Well, Heidi, I didn’t think Audrina was any better than Shannon. Melissa doesn’t count because she was a replacement. I doubt Nancy wold have been GREAT.
Anyways, I think this is just Dina Lohan pimping herself. Deena Katz said herself that invitations will probably go out after 4th of July.
What?? Of course Melissa counts – you don’t get to just ignore a participant and from what I heard Nancy was actually very good. As for Audrina – she was a much better dancer than Shannon was. But that is all beside the point – the claims that Tony “finally needs a good partner” are just ridiculous. He’s had very good partners in the past. Audrina, Melissa, Stacey Kiebler, Sarah Evans…even Melissa Jaret Winokur got to 4th place. These are not all “Kate Gosselin” or “Wendy Williams” all over again – he has not suffered every single season. Not winning doesn’t mean someone has had all duds and I think that’s what some fans erroneously think. If that’s the case, then Derek has had 4 duds himself, right?
