I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. Some pros have become celebrities in their own right since being on DWTS. They can’t dance for ever, so I think that it’s just good business sense for them to capitalise on their popularity whilst they are on the show. They regularly use their DWTS association to appear at celebrity events and dance at private parties, so why not other ventures?
That said, I think the sideline projects I’ve heard about – Dance DVDs, Cheryl’s book, shoe line and dance studio, Maks’s jewelery line and DWM studios are all tasteful, so it’s for me it’s all good!
I’m all for a shirtless Maks (specially if he’s in a white linen pants) being in my lunch box! )
