Dancing With The Stars Karina Smirnoff Attends GILT CITY Launch Party In Atlanta
This past week, Karina travelled to Atlanta, Georgia to attend the GILT CITY Launch Party at MODA. While there, she took some time to chat with Mychael Knight of Project Runway about her upcoming wedding to Detroit baseball star, Brad Penny. According to InTouch Weekly, the two were heard talking “silhouettes”. It’s unknown who the wedding dress designer will be, but, Karina plans to have two dresses designed. Aw, J, she had a great partner last season – one that was needlessly and wrongly shredded by the judges. Would love to know what they had against him because they were much kinder to worse dancers.
I wonder if Michael Knight is one of her chosen designers or just a decoy. Michael was voted the fan favorite on his season of the show. I love, love Project Runway, the new season has just started and next to DWTS its my second favorite show…
Karina is so beautiful. I am glad that she has found happiness. Karina is one of my favorites and I hope to see her this season on DWTS.
I agree with Heidi, the judges insulted Ralph Macchio unnecessarily and he was good. He had the most fantastic footwork, I couldn’t see anyone doing that. The judges had a few nice things to say after a couple of dances but 3/4 of the time, they were rude and insulting and like Heidi, I can’t understand why. I cannot see anyone, A Lister or otherwise, coming on that show and risking a rake over by the judges. They really need to get rid of all the judges and get some new blood.
I totally agree about how awful the judges were to Ralph and Karina. I also for the life of me can’t understand why they did that. My heart just broke for R&K. It was just so wrong.

I’m with you all. The judges should feel ashamed of themselves for how they treated Ralph and Karina last year. They went too far.
The judges were totally disgusting. I lost all respect for them in Season 12. Love her response to planning a wedding! lol
