Depends on what her role is, Mandy. Recently, on Derek’s movie, one of the supporting players appeared to have another role that slightly overlapped the one for Cobu – meaning he was effectively involved in two at one time. If it’s a minor part, and shoots in LA, it might not be an issue. I was following all the players in Cobu and the supporting cast didn’t have a long shooting schedule – 4 weeks at most. Derek and BoA shot for, I think, 6 weeks and that is on a movie with a lot of big dance scenes and they were the leads.

So, it really depends on her part. I’ve heard of supporting players being done in a week. I’ve heard others say a month. Hard to say. This might be a TV movie also. Don’t forget – soap actors have done DWTS and still worked on their SOAP for the whole run. Warren Sapp still worked on his NFL gig – the list goes on. I think Erin Andrews also had other activities going on while prepping for DWTS. It’s not that unusual.

So I guess Jodie Sweetin is a no go! Thats okay, Candace is a cutie. And Lee Meriweather is awesome as well, just hoping that doesn’t mean another season with Corky.

@Sandy – Thankfully, Lee is quite tall – 5’9″, if I remember correctly. Wayyyy too tall for Corky the gnome (he’s only 5’6″). Lee would probably end up with Tony or Maks…more likely Tony.

I have a feeling that Colleen will more than likely be a comeback story for this year. I knew that she been diagnosed with oral cancer, however, her website states that she was diagnosed in 2007, recurrence in 2008, and a scare in 2010. And now she is cancer-free. Thank goodness.

So with ATWT being off the air, this is the perfect opportunity for her to spread the word about her cause. Hopefully Colleen will be part of the new cast of Season 13.

Nice theory, Anna, but don’t forget that Derek had Jennie Garth and Shannon Elizabeth – also 90′s stars. Prior to Nicole and Lil’ Kim, I would have said Derek would get her – he was on a real “married, 30-something, mommies” run there for a while. Or at least the 30-somethings.

Mark also has a real track record with Olympians and Disney Stars.

Candace’s husband won Battle of the Blades here in Canada last fall, so I’m sure the whole family would be supportive of Candace doing her reality “thing”. Candace was interviewed on the show and said how hard it was to look after the kids, re: driving, etc. while he was in Canada. Maybe it will be payback. LOL

It would be fun to see Candace with Maks. I would hate to see her with Mark. She seems too nice and after the way he acted last season, rather see him get someone like Snooki. I can also see her with Tony. She is friends with Kathy Ireland who was paired with him. But she is also friends with Denise Richards and we know she was with Maks. Also remember Melissa Joan Hart was originally for Louis and Mark had Kelly. It is not a given Mark gets nineties stars.

Candace with Maks would be awesome. I hate to say it but I still watch Full House just about everyday on cable…. with the kids of course!!!

If it was just Evan OR Erin she was talking to, I may have said they were “just friends”, Valerie – but I find it too much of a coincidence that she’s mentioning both of them, when the most obvious thing they have in common is DWTS. Add to that the fact that Candace has been a casting rumor for 2 seasons now, and you’ve got more than just a coincidence on your hands. If it’s too “OTT” to you – maybe go visit TMZ? Cause they’re totally legit.

I think this is more than a coincidence too. We will soon see and it’s fun to speculate regardless. I enjoy the off season as much as the seasons itself just for these reasons.

I really like the idea on Candice on the show, since it’s so typical for future contestants being rumored a couple seasons before they are actually on the show ” Kirstie and Chris Jericho are prime examples from last season “, couple that with the fact that she tweeting Erin and asking if shes texted Evan it sounds like she is a real possibility! Now we just have to wait until the TMZ confirmation…I mean the cast announcement.

In fact, I don’t see the problem with this website. I check up on it for the articles, and I did not mean to write ‘don’t diss questionable rumors’ – instead i meant to write ‘don’t diss questionable readers’, as I feel I just said it seemed a bit over the top and then you both start threatening me? Why is that appropriate for your fans? It’s kinda hurtful, and it will lose you readers if you do it to more (I’ve seen you disrespect a few other readers).

Also, why would I make up a rumor about myself? I’m not even famous…

I don’t remember ‘carrying on’ about Candace after she said “no”. I remember us posting a new post on ALL of the rumored people right before the season started and that was it. Anyway, I don’t get the big deal. This is a blog (a place for reporting and discussing) where we can talk and “carry on” as you want to put it if we like.

Anyway, if I was you, I’d drop it and stop complaining. If you sensationalize and complain (especially about false things), I think Heidi and Courtney have a right to ask you to leave if they like. Also, it’s kind of sad that you don’t see how you’ve been “hurtful” in your posts.

Valerie, in the posts I supplied links to, the link to the twitter for Valerie Hashburntar is provided by Bennett – who if I remember correctly, has a different IP than you do (but, as it turns out, IS a friend of yours). However, a person with the exact same IP as you then posted under several different names trying to convince us that “valerie hashburntar” at that twitter supplied by Bennett was indeed a UK star and in the running for DWTS. When I didn’t believe you and called it a scam the person with the exact same IP as you then got hateful to the point that several posts had to be deleted.

Then, the other day when you were complaining about how “innappropriate” Courtney and I were, I saw on twitter the *exact same Valerie Hashburntar* say that Courtney and I were “innappropriate” to the PureDWTS twitter account. Really, you should use different phrases and words if you are trying to be different people. Not that it would help in this case.

So, to sum up – you have the exact same IP address as someone who admitted to being Valerie Hashburntar and trying to scam us into printing a false rumor on this blog. The link provided during this attempted scam is the exact same Twitter account that was used to complain about Courtney and I, using the exact same language as was used here, the other day. I can do math as well as the next person.

So, the only question for me is: why do you have this pathological obsession about rumors and people who discuss them?? Seems a bit crazy. I’m not calling a truce when from my perspective you are off the rails. Seems to me you want to call a truce because you were busted.

Word to all posters here – I give people the benefit of the doubt. You want to discuss something, I’ll discuss it. I love a good discussion and making an argument (in the scientific sense, people). Busted!! I saw her say, in a strange way, no – to your friend Valerie!! What a shock! Since we only pointed out a strange tweet she made to Erin and didn’t claim she was a definite contestant, the reaction of valeries merry band is disturbing to say the least.

Valerie is really obsessed and pathetic, as are her friends. They should all seek professional help. And learn to lighten up and enjoy the speculating and guessing. I would almost say they were jealous of this site with their behavior…or is it just obsessed with Candace??

I am not giving up hope yet, but some of my favorite rumors are being shot down, Queen Latifah, Tiffani, and now Candace…. I am sure there will be some great surprises, but honestly some of the other rumors just arent my cup of tea.

Sounds like ABC is doing a great job of covering up the real cast. Geez, the offical new lineup can’t get here soon enough!!!
