DWTS 13 Carlson Kressley So Funny On The Nate Berkus Show (Video)

During an appearance on the Nate Berkus Show today, Carlson Kressley talked about his strategy for winning Dancing with the Stars. He’s so funny. He talks of how he missed the first photo of the celebrity cast Monday night just like he missed his 4th grade class photo. He said he’s going to design some of his own costumes for the show becasue he refuses to wear the costumes Wendy Williams wore last year. If he wins the Mirror Ball, he plans to turn into a lamp and do a house segment on his show. LOL All this and more below. TOO FUNNY!!

Peta Murgatrord, Tristan MacManus, and Val Chmerkovskiy: Full Profiles Coming Soon!

As you all know, we have three new Professional dancers on Dancing With The Stars Season 13; Peta Murgatrord, Tristan MacManus, and Val Chmerkovskiy!! We hope to do a special feature on each of them in the coming days leading up to the premiere of Dancing With The Stars September 19th. In the meantime, enjoy these performances from the past to see why maybe the producers felt Dancing With The Stars Season 13 was THEIR TIME?!!

Below is Peta Murgatroyd during her run in Burn The Floor in 2009. Check out her sexy, curvy dance lines. It was actually this very video performance that drew my attention to her last year during Season 11. The next thing I knew I was doing a search for her at twitter and facebook wanting to know MORE!;

Tristan MacManus was also in Burn The Floor off and on until the first quarter of 2011. I love this Latin number. I believe Tristan is dancing in the above video as well?;

Lastly, here is Val Chmerkovskiy with his dance partner Daria Chesnokova dancing the Jive in the Dance With Me Soho Studios in 2010. He’s such a powerful and muscular dancer just like his brother Maks!;

DWTS Judges Len Goodman And Bruno Tonioli Already Fighting?

Geez, Dancing With The Stars hasn’t even started yet and these two are already bickering. According to the Daily Star, Len has ‘banned’ Bruno from speaking to him on the flight to L.A. to do the show. LOL!! Are we surprised? The two are also currently judging the UK show “Strictly Come Dancing” as well. Too much togetherness maybe?

Every Saturday after Strictly is filmed, the pair will both take an 11-hour transatlantic flight to Los Angeles to record an episode of the American show before flying back to the UK a few days later.

Goodman has said he “needs his rest” with all the travelling and he doesn’t want the loud and hyperactive Italian leaping about on the plane disturbing him.

So he’s made him take ‘’a vow of silence’’.

A source said: “Len has told Bruno he has to keep quiet throughout the flight.

“Bruno gets very excited and animated and Len won’t get any peace and quiet unless his co-star keeps his mouth shut.

“It’s going to be a tough challenge.”

Dancing With The Stars Executive Producer, Cher, And Partner Lacey Schwimmer Defend Chaz Bono

I have never seen so much hatred coming out of some people against Chaz Bono dancing. Yesterday, we reported to you about Cher taking to her twitter account to defend Chaz against all the haters and negativity. Lacey is also defending her partner. Below is what she told The Insider

“No human is perfect, so why are they pointing out what they perceive to be an imperfection in someone else? It’s not cool. We’re all taught to not bully, or harass, and treat everyone as equals yet all these people are doing exactly the opposite.” Luckily for Lacey and Chaz, the supportive sounds are drowning out the negative noise. “At the end of the day, everyone is going to have a hater. I choose not to listen to it, because it’s ridiculous. To us, it’s more important to focus on the positive people.”

“This is my sixth season — the producers know that I’m very open-minded and really accepting of everyone,” she says. “Ever since Lance [Bass] was on the show, it opened the door for the LGBT community to be accepted in Middle America and it’s about time. It’s 2011, let’s evolve a little bit here.”

You go Lacey!! Be sure to read more of The Insider interview at the link because Lacey talks on how Chaz is doing so far in rehearsals and more.

Conrad Green, the executive producer for Dancing With The Stars, has also come out to defend Chaz today. He stands firmly behind their casting choice.

“Every season we look for new stories and get as much range as possible and an interesting balance of people,” “Dancing with the Stars” executive producer Conrad Green said. “I hope the audience would at least give him [Bono] a chance.”

Conrad also defends the shows decision against OneMillionMoms.com who said the show has “gone too far” and is “exploiting our children”. Please! Are they serious? Who is Chaz hurting and exploiting? If anything he is teaching tolerance and love for everyone no matter who they are. You would think these “Moms” would approve of that and not be against it”? Below is Conrad’s reaction….

OneMillionMoms.com, which says its goal is to “stop the exploitation of our children, especially by the entertainment media,” says Dancing with the Stars has “gone too far” by casting Bono and the openly gay Carson Kressley. The organization is asking people who visit the site to email ABC and “let them know that we will not tolerate” lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues “being forced into our homes.”

Dancing with the Stars executive producer Conrad Green believes the backlash against Bono is premature.

He says, “I would ask those people, who’ve expressed discontent about this, to give Chaz a try. If they still feel the same after, so be it. But have an open mind. You might actually find that you really grow to like Chaz.”

Green also disputes the notion that the show is pushing an LGBT agenda.

He says, “I’ve been accused of having a right-wing agenda when I had Bristol Palin on the show, and we’ve been accused all kinds of agendas in the past and I genuinely don’t think we have one.”

Can you tell I am wound up on this? 😡

Heidi’s Note: I officially predict that the Season 13 opener will be the highest rated DWTS season premiere in a long, long time. Why? Because these people filled with irrational hate and paranoia won’t be able to resist watching that which they disparage.  After all, if they don’t watch, they won’t be able to claim it is being “forced into their homes.”  At the end of the day, those who claim to be “protecting their children” are really just teaching them hate and intolerance.  Two things that most children are NOT born with.  Congratulations.

Dancing With The Stars Season 13: Two Funny Daves!!

David Arquette was a guest on David Letterman last night. He starts our saying he’s all dressed up for the show and jokes he must have had a mid-life crisis to be dancing on Dancing With The Stars. The interview starts out a little crazy, but, David Arquette promises he is not drunk. He just “looks” that way always. He gets the giggles with Dave and can’t stop. But, he mentions how he’s been sober for 245 days. Even though he’s separated from Courtney Cox, they are still best friends. He also introduces the Dancing With The Stars celebrities…and as always, Dave’s reactions are priceless. He says “Gawd No!!” to Rob Kardashian. LOL More below….

Also, in case you missed this interview like I did Tuesday, here is David on the Ryan Seacrest Show as well. He’s looking forward to learning how to dance and to entertaining. He’s cleaned up his life, he wants to win, and is very competitive. He gets deep (while having fun) about “fear and life” and what he’s learned about “light” which is why he wanted to dance. He also talks of how he went to Senegal, Africa recently with a group called ‘Malaria No More’ which is an “amazing charity, doing incredible work in Africa to eliminate Malaria”.

Fascinating! I am a fan already!! I love this guy!!

DWTS Season 13 Stats – Pre Season Eliminations Predictions (Now With Pros!)

UPDATE: After a little more research, I will agree that Elisabetta’s primary occupation is as an actress as opposed to model… I have adjusted her ranks (with and without pro) to reflect this… note how this changes the other rankings as well.

YAY! Now we have the official celebrity/professional partner pairings. Let’s see how the ranks change now that we know how the pairings paired out. (Pun totally intended) If you need your memories refreshed, here is how the rankings panned out without knowing who would be paired up with whom.

NOTE: We have three new professional dancers this go around, so their placement value is based on all the past professional dancers that have only been on the show ONCE in the past twelve seasons (including Inna Brayer, Fabian Sanchez, Charlotte Jorgensen, Damian Whitewood, Brian Fortuna, etc). The placement value is separated between the male and female professional dance partners. As a whole the male professional partners that have been on the show once tend to do better than their female counterparts.

More after the break…

My life can be summed up in the following two quotes: 1) "I am married to engineering and am its faithful wife by day, but at night my wanderlust takes hold and the arts becomes my jealous paramour." and... 2) "Engineering is my safety net. Writing is my passion. Acting is my escape when the other two become too much." So where does dancing fit in? Pretty much anywhere at this point... =)
