Access Hollywood caught up with Kim and Kourtney Kardashian this week to ask them what they thought of their brother Rob dancing. They are excited for him and they hope he will make it to round two to beat Kim. Kim offers advise saying he has to stay “committed” which might be a challenge because she’s not sure he knows how much hard work goes into dancing on the show, but, he’s finding out now. According to Kourtney though, Rob has the moves.
Louis gave his predictions for Season 13 for who he thinks will win on Hollywood Uncensored. He doesn’t hold anything back….and he sounds a little sore about not being included on the show this year. Grrr to what he says on Derek!! He has just hit a low in my opinion.
Heidi’s Note: Somebody’s jealous and it shows – not sure we should give him a forum for this behavior. Geez, Louis, maybe the reason you’re not on the show is behavior like this?? Perhaps if you emulated Derek instead of complaining about him, you would be more popular and people like Ricki would ask for YOU and not him. It’s no wonder you’re currently unemployed. Perhaps when Derek and Maks leave to take advantage of other opportunities you’ll be allowed back on the show. Then again, maybe no one will want to work with you.
Special thanks to PureDWTS reader Sally (@sally_braden at twitter) for this interview!xxx
Adding: Below is Louis defending Chaz…
It seems there is always some media outlet out there trying to make it look like some of the pairs have something romantic going on. Well, this Season is no different. Yesterday, Elisabetta stopped by the E-Online studios. Below is how she reacted when they asked about her about romance rumors with Val! She was quick to point out they only have dancing on their minds and that Val is very focused. I like how she says he’s a “tough Russian guy”. :)
“This question really makes me laugh,” Canalis told us earlier today during a visit to E! News when asked about pending romance rumors. “Val really is very focused on what we are doing. He’s not focusing on anything else…He’s a tough Russian guy.”
But how is their chemistry as a dancing duo?
“It’s not a chemistry, it’s a big barrier,” she laughed. “We don’t know each other, so we are knowing each other dancing.”
As for if there’s a special guy in her life at the moment, Canalis says, “No, I’m dating nobody. I live alone with my two dogs in my apartment and I’m super happy. I’m a very independent person. I love living alone.”
She talks more about dancing below. Her accent is beautiful!
Chaz Bono’s publicist spoke to Good Morning America this morning on the controversy and the transgender debate surrounding Chaz and the show currently. They expected some controversy, but, not on this level. Chaz has taken it well though and has used it to “motivate” himself even further. He’s committed. He’s working really hard and having a great time. No way is he going to back down to the critics and it’s only re-enforced his decision to dance. OneMillionMoms.com is brought up for what they’ve quoted. Chaz publicist considers them to be a “hate” group versus promoting family values (HUGE KUDOS to Chaz’s publicist!). Be sure to watch this as you can see Chaz and Lacey also dressed up for what I think is their Title shoot as well? Excellent video. If you haven’t done so, read an earlier posting on this issue here as well.
Adding another GMA interview …includes Chaz;
According to ESPN, Hopo Solo had been a fan to Dancing With The Stars for years, but, she never thought her soccer schedule would allow her to dance. She explains how it happened below. There is some pressure on Hope knowing past athletes have done well on the show, but, she has faith in Maks’ direction. She hopes to tune out the pressure performing like she does when she plays soccer. Do you think she can do it? She sounded insecure over the summer about dancing, but, it sounds like she’s starting to sound more confident? I hope so.
“I saw that Maks had gone on ESPN’s ‘SportsCenter’ trying to recruit me a few months ago, but I was focusing on the World Cup at the time,” said Solo, who was instrumental in the team’s runner-up finish. “When I came back home, I looked at my schedule and I see no reason why I can’t do it.”
Solo knows a lot is riding on her as athletes have done very well on the show. Seven athletes, including Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward in the spring, have won the mirrorball trophy.
And Solo, 30, of Richland, Wash., has an added pressure.
“I have absolutely no dancing ability,” she said. “Thankfully, Maks will direct me perfectly.”
“I know the nerves are going to get to me. I’ll need to do that on the dance floor, tuning out the lights, cameras and audience,” Solo said. “That’s how I do it on the soccer field.”
