Friday night, Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke hosted a Dancing With The Stars Pre-Emmy Party at the Trousdale Lounge in West Hollywood. Rob Kardashian, Peta Murgatroyd, Teddy Volynets, Tony Dovolani, Val Chmerkovskiy, Kym Johnson, and David Arquette were some of their guests pictured. Above is a fun group shot of them. I never thought Derek could get even better looking….WOW. Soooo happy he is back and hope he stays awhile. Does anyone think he will be back for maybe S14 or S15 b4 he leaves for (hopefully) Dirty Dancing?
Speaking of Derek…when I was in the grocery store checkout this afternoon, I spied the new issue of GQ from a distance (didn’t have my glasses on yet) and thought Derek had made the cover! But no, it was Leo diCaprio – just look and compare to the picture above!

After seeing David in a few interviews now I realize that he reminds me of a human bobblehead. Forget the monkey suit Courtney; Kym needs to make him wear her neckbrace. On a side note I think David may go the way of Mark Cuban because I don’t know that he’ll listen to Kym. I watched a longer interview with some of the couples last night on ET. In David/Kym’s they were showing all the costume changes, which reminded me that Kym said David wanted to be involved in the wardrobe process. Also, ET asked Kym about her injury and she was in the process of talking about her rehab over the summer, which I actually wanted to hear about. However David interrupted and said that he had been in rehab over the summer too, which actually isn’t true. Not only did that show that David is just an attention hog, but I think he’s got a huge ego and has his own creative ideas like Mark Cuban. Therefore I think that inserting his wardrobe and dance ideas into the process will be his downfall.
Oh and Hines dancing in his underwear was kind of cute, but David telling the media that he also danced with Kym in his underwear just seems kind of creepy.

Its was funny reading your comment because today my dad decided to watch a little of the DWTS premiere with me (which he rarely does) and at the beginning when Derek is coming down the stairs, he goes “Look Di Caprio!” I told him he wasnt, he was a dancer and he goes “well it looks like him”
