Dancing With The Stars 13 David Arquette On The Tonight Show (Videos)
Last night, David Arquette was Jay Leno’s guest on The Tonight Show. They talk of his recent birthday, being sober 9 months plus, and about his dancing on Dancing With The Stars. He said dancing is about being “centered and balanced” which goes with his new life in being sober, fit, and getting it together. He shows his abs and gives Jay personal information he doesn’t want to know. LOL All this and much more in the interview below.

Vogue, I managed to wade through these videos but didn’t see anything that improved my opinion of David. He squirms, he giggles inappropriately, his eyes dart in every direction but never make contact .. I dunno, he just makes me feel nervous. Don’t know how someone as grounded as Kym can deal with it. She must have the patience of a saint.
LOL Shep, she probably does. I have to say I expected bigger things of his dancing, but, I’ve been disappointed the last few weeks (even though he was a little better last week). I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s picked to go in the next couple of weeks.
Well, they didn’t do anything to help him this past results show. SO, if his fans voting hard was a fluke, he could be in trouble.
I hope you’re both right! Next week’s elimination please!
There’s no denying David is neurotic but he also seems like a really nice guy, at least to me. And I think his dancing can improve greatly if he manages to focus his energy.
And I think Kym figured him out last week.
She usually likes to choreograph in a way that leaves some free space for her partners to do their own thing. She loves to show their personalities. But I think with David it’s a recipe for disaster because he goes crazy on his own and is unable to focus back on the dance.
She choreographed a tight routine last week in which he has to partner her all the time. And it worked. I think it’s the right track for them.
sasa, I’m sure David really is a nice guy and it seems like all the other dancers like him a lot. But I think your word – focus – may be the heart of the matter. Even in the rumba, he was like a guy desperately trying not to fall off a tightrope. I’m glad for him that he has fans like you, but I can’t be one.
@Heidi – Do you still think David will be in the finals? And possibly be one of the last two? …
I have to be honest I felt that way but now I really don’t think he will be around much longer. At first I really liked him, but now I barely even remember he’s on the show. My favorites have outshined him by miles… And that fine by me.
Err, I haven’t thought David would be in the finals since I saw him dance. I don’t see him getting there unless someone else gets eliminated or hurt.
Battling alcoholism is no easy thing and David still has some issues. I kinda think it was too early in his recovery for him to be on DWTS. It can be a stressful gig. For his sake, I hope he stays sober and finds the balance and centering he needs in his life.
@Cidra – good insight.
