DWTS13 Hope Solo And Maksim Chmerkovskiy Prepare For A “Toy Story” Fox Trot (Rehearsal Video)

Special thanks to PureDWTS reader, Cranscape for the heads up on this new Insider interview with Maks and Hope. You can see them rehearsing for their Fox Trot in New York City. Hope talks of how hard it is to get into character for a “Toy Story” character being she’s not an actor. However, this is not true for Maks. He even sings the theme song a little at the end while Hope says she’s his friend despite how hard dancing has been to learn at times from him. Cute interview.

I'm a fashion and music nut....and I have always loved dancing too of any kind. Dancing With The Stars seems to have this way of bringing all of those things together. Derek Hough (one of my favorite dancers) said at a recent Get Healthy event that ‘dancing’ is an outward expression of what is going on inside you. Interesting interview. I think it shows how analytical athletes get about their training. I liked Hope’s VWaltz. Maybe the Foxtrot can work for her if she gets into character and is a bit lighter on her feet. She might be better in ballroom than in the flirty Latin dances.
