Tristan MacManus On DWTS Rumba Rehearsals: “The Fun Is About To Begin” (Videos)

Tristan tells Access Hollywood the ‘fun is about to begin’ when they ask him about he and Nancy’s rehearsals. They ask Nancy if she’s comfortable going into week 5. Nancy says she forgets everything else when the music starts to play. She’s also getting use to “the panic” that sets in. Nancy also discusses all the hats a woman has to wear whether you are a Mother, a fellow prosecutor, etc. and she’s not different than any other woman. Right now, she just wants to concentrate on getting the Rumba down and hopefully, nailing it Monday night. More below…

One of the things I love about this show is watching the way the relationship/friendship grows between the pros and celebs as the weeks go by.

Agree Cidra. The Pros should get most of the credit for that, they are amazingly patient through the early learning process and have to establish the teacher/student relationship, while also making the student very dependent on them and without triggering prima dona reactions from their “stars.” I admire the heck out of all of them. It would be fascinating to be a fly on those rehearsal studio walls! The “packages” can’t begin to tell the stories.

So true, Shep! All the pros are amazing.

I think ABC has had the name right all along… it’s just that the pros are the “stars”. The celebs come on each season to “dance with the stars”.

hmm, Cidra, this might be an interesting twist on the next incarnation of DWTS. TPTB dipped a toe in that water with Maks & Hope. It could be interesting, so long as all the male pros didn’t request Jennifer Aniston!

I have to admit, I never thought I’d say this – I like Nancy. OMG. I didn’t think it was possible. But, it is and I love them together. Tristan is PERFECT for Nancy – so calm and patient and funny. Who knew she’d be one of my faves????

Christy, my sentiments exactly. Before the season started, I would never have thought that I would like Nancy this much. She’s not the best dancer but I love how she and Tristan interact with each other. They are so funny together. Tristan seems to bring out the best in Nancy and he is so adorable.
