Access Hollywood went into Kym and David’s rehearsals today. They are sweating it, but, Kym says David is improving and he’s already doing their new Quickstep to music which he usually doesn’t do until Friday.
“He’s really becoming quite the dancer”, says Kym.
David describes the mental challenge versus the physical challenge of it all. He has to be centered, calm, and grounded along with his energy.
Kym talks of how the Quickstep could be David’s dance as long as he doesn’t let the excitement get the best of him.
David also chats about his new TV series with Courtney Cox. I can’t embed these interviews this time, but, you can watch them HERE and HERE.
If you need more of Carson and Anna like I do, you can watch them on The View today below. The two do their “Moves Like Jagger” Cha Cha performance which will put a smile on your face again if you are interested in watching it.
Also, Carson talked with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show today. About his getting booted from Dancing With The Stars Carson said, “The moral of the story, don’t dress like a skittle!” LOL!! More below….
That’s not all. Carson has made a funny dancing sendup called “Dancing With Wolves 2 – How Costner Got His Groove Back” for the Hero Dog Awards which will air on the Hallmark Channel on Nov. 11th. The video (which has gone viral) “supports a cause near and dear to Carson’s heart: the protection and well-being of animals.” You can view it >>>>HERE. More details at PR Newswire.
ADDING: And if that wasn’t enough laughs from Carson for ya, be sure to see his “best Nancy Grace”…
Note: Carson along with Tristan and other Dancing With The Stars celebrities and dancers will guest on her show tonight (Friday). Be sure to tune in if interested.
While waiting for the Dancing With The Stars results on Tuesday, Rob visited Good Day L.A.. He tells them, he’s in this competition to win it “one dance at a time”. He also discusses how different he is from his sisters being he’s a homebody and he doesn’t like all the camera’s. But, doing Dancing With The Stars is different for him and he’s loving it. They also talk of the biggest heart his Dad had when he was alive. Lots more below…
According to the tweet below, Kristin Chenoweth will be performing on “Dancing With the Stars” Monday and Tuesday for Broadway week. According to her official site, she’ll be singing “Lessons Learned” from her new album (which you can listen to below) and a Broadway show medley!
Broadway night on DWTS on Monday Oct 24. I will be singing. So excited! And then on Tuesday 25th I’m performing something from SLL on DWTS
It’s another interesting shakedown for the Las Vegas Odds! Last week, OLBG had Rob in 5th place. Now they have him tied for a third place position with Hope which I’d say sounds about right (never did I think I’d say that at the beginning of this competition). However, they’ve placed Chaz above David this week which I’m not sure is correct? Once again, they are putting Nancy last. Will she prove the odds makers wrong yet again?
J.R. Martinez 1.4
Ricki Lake 2.75
Hope Solo 34
Rob Kardashian 34
Chaz Bono 41
David Arquette 67
Nancy Grace 151
Also, if you haven’t seen this interview yet, Tony gets Carrie Ann to talk of who she thinks is the “dark horse” in this competition. She picks Rob! Up until this past week, I’ve always thought the “dark horse” was Carson, but, now I’m starting to wonder if Carrie Ann is right? (Side Note and off topic: you can also see Maks and Carson Rumba in this video. Too funny!)
So, what do you think? Do the odds look correct to you at this time? Who do you think is the “dark horse”?
As always, Pure Dancing With The Stars looks forward to your thoughts!!
Heidi’s Note: Yeah, Rob will be the dark horse if you keep voting with your loins, woman. Giving Rob and JR both 9’s?? Yeah, that’s logical. Unless something changes, though, Rob and David could very well take two spots in the semi-final, cutting Hope out. Unless of course they keep making Derek/Ricki fans complacent – then she might get cut out instead. Anyway, I agree with them on their top 2 spots, and I agree with their bottom spot. We’ll have to wait and see what actually happens. Their record has been worse than mine this season. By a mile.
Last week, Dancing With The Stars came in at 4th (with 16,556,000 viewers) and 6th(with 15,276,000 viewers) in TV Ratings. This week, our show makes a leap to 2nd and 3rd. Take a look at these numbers from Zap2It via Nielson Television Ratings. Dancing With The Stars even beat out the Bears/Vikings game!!
