DWTS Quick Quiz……
I’ve been here and there on the internet to try to find some information I need. DWTS had a performance show on Halloween before, so be on the look out for eventually seeing a review of that past performance show. Season 3, week 8, by the way. Also, trying to figure out the team dances…
Meanwhile, I found a lot of interesting stuff, and anyone who is “into” trivia may be interested. So here’s how it’s going to work…. I’ll post a few questions, and you answer in the comments. Simple. All the answers can be found if you look, and I’ll try to make some easy, and some not so easy. I’ll post tomorrow in the comments the correct answers, or if people found the correct answers! OH! And some of the questions MAY NOT refer to just our version…
DWTS QUICK QUIZ #1:
1.) How many celebrities have withdrawn from the US version of the show?
2.) How many professionals have had back to back wins?
3.) There are versions of the show in over 30 countries around the world, and so far, there have been 2 Dancing With The Stars World Championships. Name the country that came in first place in the first one.

1. I believe 2 contestants have actually withdrawn from competition: Sara Evans and Tom Delay.
2. 3 pros with back to back wins on the US show: Cheryl Burke, Julianne Hough, Derek Hough. Internationally, Raimundo Todaro (Italy) has also won back to back.
3. Mexico won the first DWTS World Championships.
1. 7- Jewel, Nancy O’Dell, Romeo, Sara Evans, Vincent Pastore, and Misty-May Treanor.

3. In 2007 first place was Mexico and in 2010 first place went to the United States.
1.) If you are talking about after the premere, then 3, Sara Evans, Misty Mae Treanor, and Tom Delay. If you include the people that withdrew before the premere, then you need to add Jewel, Nancy O’dell, Ryan O’neal(according to the radio he was signed up for tge show and went to rehearsals but quit after he found out Nancy Grace was also cast.) and you might also include Romeo, but he came back last season and made it to week 8.
2.) on the US version, there were 3. Cheryl Burke, seasons 2 and 3 with Drew Lachey and Emmit Smith. Julianne Hough, seasons 4 and 5 with Apolo Anton Ohno and Helio Castroneves. Derek Hough, seasons 10 and 11 with Nicole Scherzinger and Jennifer Grey. Mark Ballas almost won back to back, he won seasons 6 and 8 with Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson.
3.) Mexico
1) During competition: Misty May (injury), Tom DeLay (injury), Sara Evans
Before beginning of season: Jewel & Nancy O’Dell. Romeo was also supposed to be on but had a non-dance injury and Master P had to fill in.
2) Cheryl Burke with Drew Lachey & Emmitt Smith; Julianne Hough with Apolo Anton Ohno & Helio Castroneves; Derek Hough with Nicole Scherzinger & Jennifer Grey
3) This is the only one I had to look up.
Mexico won the first one.
