DWTS Season 13 Finale Interviews After Monday Night’s Dances Part 2 (Videos)
Yes, it’s me back with some more new interviews and reviews!! Are you ready? First up, we have Cameron Mathison on Good Morning America today reviewing the dances and couples…
Louis Van Amstel reviewed the night as well in his new blog at ABC. Below are his overall thoughts. He can’t decide who should be the winner yet. Be sure to read more of his thoughts on each dance at the link.
Overall: It was an interesting night. Ricki is technically the best dancer. J.R. is the most rhythmical and shows his spirit the most, while Rob is the most relaxed and is coming from behind. You guys have a hard time voting for the couples. All three celebs have qualities that could win them the trophy. It’s going to be the very last performance that determines the winner. Nothing is set in stone. I do believe the right three celebs made the final on dancing, so at least no one made the final on fan base alone.
It’s also going to be an interesting competition between the Pros. Will Derek win for the fourth time? Cheryl for the third time? Or will Karina take the trophy for the first time? As of now, I couldn’t pick a winner yet. I’ll be watching it live tomorrow night and only then can I make an informed decision as to who should win, in my opinion!
Now let’s move on the Access Hollywood interviews with Tim Vincent….
Ricki discusses how Derek pushed her this past week. Ricki says she will be ok for however the competition turns out. Kirstie Alley pops into the interview to give her scores for them and some tips for tonight.
Rob definitely didn’t expect a perfect score last night. He can’t believe they are in first place. Cheryl is so proud. Rob continues to surprise her. He hopes he can improve and be strong in their final dances tonight.
Karina says she knew they nailed the freestyle after their first lift. Karina goes through the creativity process in coming up with the “Afrinca Cuban” choreography. They talk of how they still have to dance tonight.
E Online also interviewed the couples and Kirstie Alley. Below are Kirstie’s thoughts on the show…
“I think they all did a really good job, but my favorite is Ricki because I love Ricki’s spirit,” Kirstie enthuses. “She always seems joyous when she’s dancing. She works really hard at it, which I admire, and she’s been consistent. I just love her so I want her to win.”
Kirstie says “it was better” being a spectator than a participant in the finale and says, “They seem so very calm and collected. They didn’t seem like a bunch of lunatics! Oh my holy, if they weren’t calm and collected they were good actors.”

And that’s not all! There was also “no rest for the weary” after last night’s show. The couples went straight to the rehearsal studios to practice some more for tonight….

Did you see Ryan Seacrest’s tweet 2 hrs ago that the results are in and a handful of people know the winner.
Really? So my voting until 11AM and the judges scores tonight are just part of “going through the motions” LOL
Hehe…Ryan Seacrest is an oily, glib SOB. I’m assuming that by tweeting that, Ryan wants us all to know that he knows the results? HA. Yeah, I believe it – ABC decided to reveal the results of the super-duper top secret voting to a guy not even employed by their network. Beyond that, unless one of the remaining 3 contestants got a LANDSLIDE of votes last night that would render the results of the favorite dance and the instant samba irrelevant, no one knows the winner yet. But it does make one wonder – if they’re already sure of the winner, who is it? I would think JR would be the only one with enough widespread popularity & appeal to pull in that many votes.
Ryan is full of it. Nuff said.
I agree Heidi. That is just wrong if Ryan did that.
Well, It almost ended like I expected. I thought for sure Ricki and Derek would win. I felt Ricki had more attention and interviews then the rest of the of the troupe. She did a great job love to you and Derek and all your hard work. Thanks to Rob and Cheryl You were great Rob. Love to you and Karina. WOW, I’m so proud of J.R. and Karina what a come back. The love and support that that everyone gave to J.R.. The pain that J.R. endured is much more than we can ever imagine. The pain the hurt and the scars how can anyone come back from that and have so much heart for everyone. I can only say I love you J. R. and you inspire me to work harder and to go after my dreams.
Take time to reflect and inspire the rest of us to come out and love everyone like you do. Your are my inspiration. Love you forever. Would love to meet you someday and talk about we (the world) can help inspire people and to help them when they are down and out and have nothing at all . You are a inspiration for that and I would love to be part of that J. R. I’m a farm girl from Ohio but would love to reach out to people in need. Love your life and hope to meet you someday. Kristie
