This is John and Vogue!! It’s that time again to make your Cast Suggestions for Dancing With Stars Season 14th!! In the comments section, tell us which celebrities you’d like to see dance on the show. You can name as many as you wish and in as many posts as you wish depending on who you think of and how you are inspired when you read other fans suggestions, etc.. Then in a couple of weeks (or when this post dies out), we’ll send all of your/our suggestions to ABC. They may listen and they may not…or they may use our suggestions for future seasons after Season 14. You never know.
To get us started, here is a list a PureDWTS reader sent into us:
WOMEN: Alanis Morissitte, Donna Brazil, Jenna Marasca (from Survivor), Jennifer Garner, Sara Lancaster (no Chuck in 2012), Yvonne Strahovski (no Chuck in 2012), Patricia Arquette, Chris Evert.

As we reported to you yesterday, Marie Osmond and Mark Ballas took part in the 80th Anniversary Hollywood Christmas Parade. Hollywood Sta Craze was there to cover the event a little. Below are some videos of the two. If you’d like to see more parade coverage for what they have, be sure to see the Hollywood Sta Craze You Tube Channel.
On January 27, Dance With Me Studios in New York will be hosting a big birthday ballroom bash for Maks and friends. If interested, you can get ticket information at Dance With Me USA. Tickets range from $75-$200 depending on where you want to sit. What a nice Christmas present for the serious Maksimista fan….as well as fans to Val, Daria, Teddy, Nicole, Tony, and Kirstie who might be attending the event as well.
Speaking of…and according to My Style, Maks intends to focus on his Dance With Me studios in the off season of Dancing With The Stars as well as his new “Maksim” jewelry line which is currently available at JCPenney’s just in time for the holiday season. Of the new line, Maks told My Style, “I like bracelets and leather. I’m into non-denominational rosary beads so that anybody can wear it. We’re doing non-semi-precious metals because it’s more affordable. Nowadays, it’s not about selling a $2,000 diamond. I want to give people the opportunity to purchase a couple things they can enjoy.” You can read more at My Style and see a cool picture of him in his “cold” garb.
As most of you know, Dancing With The Stars has been nominated for “Favorite TV Competition Show” in the People’s Choice Awards. Other shows nominated in this category are American Idol, America’s Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, and The Voice. If you’d like to see Dancing With The Stars to win, be sure you vote >>>>HERE. Then be sure to tune in to watch the People’s Choice Awards on Jan. 11th on CBS to see if Dancing With The Stars wins.
So, do you watch any of the shows listed above besides Dancing With The Stars? I watch American Idol, but, not the others. I may start tuning into So You Think You Can Dance. I bet I’d like it.

1.Forecasting the frontrunners. She predicts that J.R. Martinez will walk away with the Mirror Ball trophy this season, with Ricki Lake and Rob Kardashian not far behind.
The above quote was taken from Fitness Magazine from an interview with Anna. She made that winning prediction for Season 13 in October. As you can see she ended up being dead on with it. This got me thinking about our Dancing With The Stars early prediction posts before Season 13 started. Do you remember how you ranked the contestants before they started dancing and were you wrong, right, or close?
Some of you posted your thoughts in Marianya’s Prediction Stat Post while some posted their predictions in Courtney’s Part One and Part Two Preliminary Power Ranking posts. As you can see, Courtney and Marianya were pretty close for how the competition turned out. What’s interesting is Marianya was probably the only one from almost all of us who predicted Rob to do so well….and what’s more Marianya put him as high as 3rd place!
Heidi ended up being amazingly psychic as always when she predicted Kristin to “pull an Audrina” by exiting the competition early in Marianya’s Post. She predicted the same with Chynna. Heidi also predicted J.R. to win in her Part 2 Ringers Post.
Almost all of us chose Rob and Nancy to finish last. The majority felt pretty negative on those two. To our pleasant surprise, we ended up loving them. Rob and Nancy ended up showing other sides to themselves that we didn’t know about and staying in the competition more than many of us forecasted.
Anyway, take a look back at the links above if interested. It’s fun to see how close or far we came from the results and what we (the bloggers and fans) wrote. My early first prediction for the top five were David, JR, Ricki, Elisabetta, and Kristin…and well, we all know how that turned out. LOL!!
Good news for us Dancing With The Stars fanatics!! The NY Post is reporting that the Game Show Network has acquired the rights to air past seasons of Dancing With The Stars as well as Season 14. Below is a take from the link…
The Game Show Network (GSN) has acquired the rights to air past seasons of “Dancing with the Stars,” it was announced Tuesday.
Fans can begin reliving their favorite moments from seasons four to 13 of the hit ABC dance competition starting January 2012.
The syndication agreement between the cable network and the Disney-owned TV channel also includes season 14, which will debut next spring.
Very cool!!! This will be a fun way to pass the time away in the off season and catch seasons and shows we might have missed!
