DWTS Derek Hough Co-Hosts On Live! With Kelly
Looking charming as ever in a dark gray suit and gray satin tie, Derek co-hosted on LIVE! With Kelly today. In the first 15 minutes, they talk of what it’s like to dance and compete on Dancing With The Stars. Kelly asks Derek about his love for Martial Arts and the similarities with dancing. She also congratulates and puts Derek on the spot for making it into People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue. More fun with these two below….

I don’t usually watch the show, but tuned in today to see Derek
He did a great job! My favorite segment was with Paula Deen! It appeared that Kelly was doing the cooking segment solo, until Paula shouts out “wait…where is that cute dancer guy?” She then proceeds to tell Kelly to just make the pie herself while Paula flirts with Derek!! So cute, and obviously, Paula has good taste! 
Derek did a great job!! I enjoyed his co-hosting! The first segment was really funny. It was nice to see him in this capacity, venturing out. Paula Deen was hilarious.
I hope Kelly invites him to host again. I thought they were great together and she seemed to adore him as well. I cracked at Burn Notice’s Donovan when he brought up the Lambada dance with Derek/Joanna. He said he was a fan too.

It was such a luxury getting to see Derek for 60 min on Live! with Kelly rather than 5 min here and there on DWTS.. lol! I thought he did a great job, as well, and he was smoking hot in his suit!! Yes, he was just stunning at yet one more thing! His personality on live TV comes across so well (and so did his sisters) and I am convinced it is one of the biggest reasons he is so successful on the show and has gotten so many fans from the show. You heard Jeffrey Donovan, another fan. Everybody knows Derek from the show, they may not always get his name right but they know him, can describe his dances, etc. I also think Derek thrives on the live aspect and feedback from an audience.
Just great and so great with Kelly. Loved it.
I wouldn’t say I am usually the biggest fan of Kelly..but I really liked her here..I thought she was pretty cute and funny in this episode…I think Derek must bring it out in her!…
Derek was fabulous on Live! The sky is the limit for him, thats for sure. He is so talented.
Silly, but I just couldn’t get used to Kelly sitting on the other side, I don’t think she stands out as much. But then again, ALL eyes are on Derek!!
Just got around to watchching it (last semester of college keepin me busy to say the least) but he did great! I think that Tony should cohost w Kelly. Persoanlly, nobody can replace Regis in my mind but right now I think they need someone who is very popular and personable and can handle the show. Tha tkinda leaves them w Dana Carvey, NPH, and Derek thus far. As long as it isn’t Kelly’s husband I think the show will do good.
Did anyone notice what happened either before or during, when Paula was apparently taken OFF the show? A friend mentioned it this morning, and we are trying to see what happened. Was Paula ugly, or did she make an uncalled-for comment about Derek?
No clue what you’re talking about, mygirlsmom. Nothing showed up in the broadcast. She clearly loved Derek, actually.
Mygirlsmom… No nothing strange happened unless the comment (in a southern accent) “My brother was trippin’ over his balls” is strange….cut to commercial! LOL! Time was up and that just happened to be the last thing that was said before the show went off the air. Kelly and Derek were laughing hard about it in their BTS video.
Derek is a class act all the way and his charismatic co-hosting with Kelly just shows there is no limit to his success. Whether he is wowing us with his breathtaking talent as a dancer/choreographer/teacher or shining his dazzling personality on us, Delicious D never disappoints. TV audiences adore him for good reason: they are appreciatively watching the rise of a major star.
Loved Derek in this episode and thought he was such a natural in front of the camera. Agree that the sky is the limit to anything he wants to do.
