DWTS Mark Ballas Picked To Be An Advocate For Mental Health in Schools Act

Monday, Rep. Grace F. Napolitano welcomed Dancing With The Stars pro Mark Ballas as the newest member of her Mental Health in Schools Act Task Force which helps to increase the availability of mental health services for young people. Below is a quote from her….

“I am delighted to have Mark Ballas as an advocate for the Mental Health in Schools Act,” Napolitano said. “Mark’s courage will help us break down the stigma surrounding mental health, and his passion will help us reach the many young people who struggle with mental health issues. I look forward to working with him to raise awareness and improve our country’s youth mental health services.” “I am honored to be working with Congresswoman Napolitano and the Mental Health in Schools Act Task Force,” Ballas said. “If we can help erase the stigma of mental illness and suicide for kids in high school and college, we can change the future for their generation.
