DWTS Season 14 Rumor (?) – Taylor Armstrong

NOTE the Question Mark in the title!! The source on this occasion is Hollywood Life and they, like so many others, were wrong as often as they were right before last season. Especially this early in the game.

Also not sure I would qualify this as a rumor or just DWTS peeps wishful thinking. From Hollywood Life:

HollywoodLife.com’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ insider says Beverly Hills housewife Taylor Armstrong and TV Legend Regis Philbin are on the producers dream list. What would you think if they joined next seasons cast?

The Regis Philbin thing is a gimme, since he said previously on Live with Regis and Kelly that he would do the show if Derek was his partner. :-)

It also seems like we had Taylor as a rumor once before…

      Not sure about Taylor, but, bring Regis on I say! :) Though I thought I read recently where he said he’d never do DWTS because of his health issues. LOL to him dancing with Derek. Seriously though, I can see them both dancing in a big production number with Fedoras.

      Yeah, I think there were murmurings about Taylor – I remember talking with someone about it on Twitter, and I recall we both thought it was a horrible idea and agreed that Tony would probably get stuck with her. He unfortunately seems like a magnet for the 40+ emotionally needy set, to no fault of his own. I’m honestly not sure if I could watch that potential trainwreck – she really went off the deep end this season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and I find her swift capitalization on her late ex-husband’s demise to be beyond tacky. For that reason alone – I could potentially see this one having some merit to it. Rumor has it she is basically broke, since hubby changed his will a few weeks before his suicide – I could see her pulling a Kate Gosselin and doing it for the money. Wish I could say that I don’t think TPTB would stoop that low, but at first we poo-pooed the likes of Bristol Palin & Kate Gosselin, thinking the casting folks were above it :-(

      Bring on the Reege :-) Not only does he have a bromance with Derek, but he has one with Donnie Wahlberg as well. Too cute.

      I must be the only person who can’t stand Regis. I’ve never understood the adulation. *LOL* I wouldn’t be thrilled with either him or the Armstrong woman. That being said, I’m pretty sure Regis’ health issues wouldn’t allow him to actually compete – maybe a guest pro dance thingamie tho’? Unfortunately, like Court, I think it’s all too possible that Taylor could come on board. *sigh*

      Taylor Armstrong on DWTS?!? That’s enough to make me physically ill. In my book, she’s the lowest of the low – someone who is willing to try to extend her 15 minutes of fame off of the suicide of her husband… talk about pond scum. Please, TPTB – NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

      I would say a tentative yes to Taylor and a definative YES to Regis. She seems nice BUT isn’t it too soon to be doing something like this….i doubt she had anything to do w the hussbands death (from what i saw on tv about it) but maybe the fall season. As for Regis I hacve the perfect partner for him (that isn’t Derek lol): CHERYL.

      Oh my god REGIS? isn’t he life somewhere is in alter 70′s? Not that im saying it wouldn’t be kinda funny to watch him dance, but what pro dancer would he dance with?

      If Taylor Armstrong does dancing with the stars I will never watch DWTS again. She is a brat and doesn’t deserve to be on the show. All she wants to do is fight. She needs to be at home with her daughter Kennedy. Not out with DWTS. . If she does dancing with the stars. I’m out for the season.I have read up on her not a person you would want on DWTS. You better be careful before you have her on DWTS. No.1 She’s a home wrecker. Watch your steps with her. I SAY ABSOLUTELY NO to TAYLOR ARMSTRONG. Read up on her she’s not who you want to be on DWTS.
