DWTS Season 14 Rumor – Bar Refaeli To Dance?
According to Abbanibi.com, Bar Refaeli has been approached to dance on Dancing With The Stars. It sounds like they are having scheduling conflicts otherwise she might do it if they can work something out? Below is a take from the link.
Unfortunately, we did not receive a comment from ABC by the time of publish, but looks like the ball has dropped and it’s up to Dancing with the Stars’ casting team to negotiate.
Bar’s “hectic work schedule” includes, in the past few months, a full promo schedule for ‘Escada’ perfume plus fashion campaigns for GAP fit and Arrow (alongside Josh Duhamel). Refaeli, who’s currently in Paris, is also leading campaigns in France, Colombia and Israel.
Abbanibi is getting the phone ready to vote, just in case Bar and ABC are able to work the schedule out.

I fhse does the show I’d like 2 c her paired with Tony or Thristan. Tony and her would make a good pair on the floor and same for Thristan. Not maks though.
Apparently Bar is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, put on some dancing shoes and she is quite tall. Not sure who she would be partnered with.
They could bring Dmitry again. Again, the show choosing the ex of an A list star, Leo. Lol. As long as there is no Herman Cain or other polarizing casting choice.

I call bull on this one. A previously unknown website with a “rumor” no one else has? Yeah, right. I need more. This could be a site looking to make a name for itself.

That seems like an israeli site and Bar is from Israel. I can see them covering her. They appear to have talked to her mother. I’ve heard that she a great model, but I would think she’s more popular in Europe than here.
Bar is pretty well known here in the States – not only for dating Leo DiCaprio, but also for modeling for Victoria’s Secret and for being a Sports Illustrated cover girl. However, she’s been known to keep a pretty low profile, so I don’t see her entertaining the notion of something like DWTS.
I feel that if the show wants a current model thats popular theya re going to have a ahrd time since not all of them are like Petra (outgoing and willing to go out on a limb and try something different). Saying that, I’m sure one of the Victoria’s Secret model will lose popularity soon after a newer and younger model takes her spot so maybe then will we get one of them lol.
These tall model types don’t well on the show. The highiest placing for a “tall” model was Rachel Hunter and that was in season 1 and we know the show is completely different. Brooke and Josie were models but aren’t nearly as tall as Rachel, Paulina, and Petra are.

Hmmm…maybe Tony or Maks then…i don’t know about that…i wouldn’t like to see her with Dmitry…he had a good chance with Petra – who was great – and he blew it…he just doesn’t have it.. of course Maks would want her…but…i hope she gets another pro…Tristan or Derek…Derek has done a wonderful job with Joanna and she was 5′ 7″ … and she would be the first partner born in the same year as he is .. hoping for a change

Derek’s partners always have fun personalities thouugh. From what I have seen so far of her she is an Audrina type quiet person.
5’8″ really isn’t terribly tall for a model, when you take into account that Petra Nemcova was 5’10″ and Rachel Hunter and Paulina Porizkova were both 5’11″. Both Brooke & Joanna were 5’7″, and Derek partnered them well – so I don’t think it would be a stretch for him to get her. Tristan could probably partner her well, too. And don’t forget Val! I think the only pros that would be no-gos are Louis & Mark. Not every model is a human redwood
I wonder is she is going to make a request of a pro if she does the show. Personally, I think she is perfect partner for Derek now that I know he has had partners with heights simalir to that. Didn’t know paulina is 5’11. She always looked so short on Top Model.
Who’s with me that it would be SO NICE to see Derek with somebody his own age for a change. I really wish they could put togeither a season with people well-matched to all the pros and with alot of potential so we could see even greater things from these pros, MOST of whom are very talented.
I know, just a dream. I’m sure we’ll get the same ole formula, let’s try to cover specific demographic type of show. I hope when the new season is announced I’ll have to eat those words.
