Rumor: Peta Murgatroyd Back For Next Season Of Dancing With The Stars?
Voices Yahoo has a new article up with Peta Murgatroyd where she talks of how she keeps her legs and body looking toned. You can read a take below for how she does it, but, take a look at the last sentence where it mentions Peta will be back for the next season of Dancing With The Stars. I so hope this is true!! Be sure to read the full story at the link as well as seeing a beautiful picture of Peta!!
Peta admits that a “healthy diet and years of training certainly helps keep her legs in shape,” but she also admits to using special products to help make her legs shimmer, shine and look camera ready. Peta says of her routine, “I usually start with a leg tone serum, the one I absolutely love is LegTone by Adonia Organics, it makes my legs look flawless and works in 9 minutes.” The next step in her routine consists of making sure he legs have the perfect, sun-kissed, color. “I love Adonia’s BronzingCollection too! It smells fantastic, delivers the perfect bronzy shade and never streaks.” Peta also adds “I make sure to drink lots of water before a performance too, nothing makes skin glow like hydration.”
While rehearsing for “Dancing With the Stars” and her on-camera performances, Peta changes her diet too, she says “to stay light on my feet I’ll swap out a meal for a shake, I love the PureTrim Mediterranean Wellness Shakes, especially the chocolate flavor, they’re filling and have all the nutrition you could need.”
Peta will be back on the next season of “Dancing With the Stars” and she is certainly the one to watch.
Heidi’s Note: Eh, I call bull on that. We’ll just have to wait and see if she’s back or not. I think the only pros likely to be guaranteed a partner at this point are Derek, Mark, Karina, Kym, Anna and Cheryl – and maybe Tristan. Probably Tony and Maks. I think that Peta, Chelsie and Lacey are not sure things, mainly because the latter two have sat out before and Peta might not have made an impact in her one week on the show last time. We’ll have to wait and see.

Kym has sat out a season too. Season 10.
I remember last season she said she’ll be on dwts as a pro, but Damian will be not back. That was true.
Thye could jsut make it 14 contestants allowing for 14 pros too. That would be an ideal scenario becuase I think the pros are going to be:
1) Derek (becuase They NEED him…..love him or hate him he is damn good)
2)Karina (She jsut won her 1rst trophy and she is no doubt a priority for them…plus she is probs one of the most popular female pros on the show)
3) Mark (becuase they NEED him….love him or hate him he is awesome)
4) Maks (becuase he is Maks)
5) Tony (dude has a great fanbase hopefuuly he sticks around longer than this season_
6) Thristan (def. one to watch since he is capable of really winning this thing this time around if given a great partner)
7) Cheryl (cuz she is Cheryl)
8) Kym (she is always a fan fav)
9) Lacey (after Chazz she deserves a spot since she really showed what she can do as a teacher and person on the show. while others would have filiped out and lost theit patience w Chazz becuase he wasn’t thhe best one there and needed lots of work (like tony did to kate G) she stuck to her guns and amde sure he did his best every week and really made him into a dancer. )
10) Peta (I wanna see her get a second chance)
11) Anna (She is a fan fav of ll fan favs. She needs to win that trophy soon)
12) Val (He is a rising star for the show. Maks 2.0)
This leaves Chelsie, Damien, and Dymetry as likely sit outs (again). Thats why I thin 14 pros are needed so I’m gonna say that tw of the three should return:
1) Dymetry (He is boring as hell but he can really get great results) or Damien (I would LOVE to see him on the hsow again but if they don’t he should try getting in more pro dances)
2) Chelsie (wasn’t a fan of hers until Romeo and she deserves to be there again).
Also, I was thinking about it and I think the troupe should get two more members (Ashleigh Di Lello and her husband Ryan Di Lello……this is a sidenothe but I LOVED them on SYTYCD and I think they would be an awesome addition to the troupe)
If I had my choice it would be Damian instead. Still on the fence about Peta.
Doesn’t say she’ll be teaching, just that she’ll be back. Several pros danced last season who didn’t teach.
Not this early, Jennifer. Besides, they told her they wanted to give her a partner, but this season she’s in the same boat as everyone else – waiting to see if someone signs up that would be right for her.
Ell, the implication when the pros say they’ll be back is that they’ll be teaching.
Yes, Kym sat out a season but I believe that was at HER choice, not the producers. Lacey has sat out twice and gotten a reprieve on one of those. I think Chelsie is more likely to be back and the only reason she wasn’t on last season was because they just didn’t have a good partner for her.
Hopefully, Vin, the producers learned their lesson and realized that 12 is the max number of contestants. Any more than that is just much too much. I hated when they had 16 – horrendous.
@Princess Heidi: i hated 16 contestants but 14 is more managable. Plus they cna have a double elimination at one point (preferably week two) without eliminating someone in week one so it would be down to tweleve again. Thats better for the pros since at least they can compete for the MBT.
As I mentioned in the post where Maks said he is “coming back”, I always get a bit irritated at media like this, because they tend to misinterpret a pro saying they hope to return or are planning on returning with confirmation that a pro will indeed be back. Nothing has changed in the past 12 seasons, kids: the pros won’t know for sure if they’re on until about a week before the cast announcement, when all the ink is dry on the celebrity contracts. And this isn’t just Heidi & I saying it, kids: several pros have confirmed that this is how it works, as have more than one insider at the show. It’s ok to be optimistic about a pro returning, but I find that it’s less disappointing to just assume that no one will be back until we start “pro watch” in the week or so leading up to the cast announcement.
@vin – It looks like 11 is the magic number for the spring season at DWTS these days – 14 sounds daunting. And double eliminations are no bueno in my book.
Listen to Courtney folks! Karina has confirmed recently in an interview that it is indeed the way it works
Yep, pet peeve of mine too. It’s the same thing as celebrities saying they would absolutely do DWTS is asked being reported as “So and so is doing DWTS!!!” Makes me nuts.
And I’m with Courtney – double eliminations are no bueno.
I wonder if the producers compile a list of Pro’s who say to the producers they will be available for the next season and then just wait to see if they’re called?
Besides, I am sure that the Pro’s don’t want to say to anyone who asks that they’re not coming back unless they’ve already announced they’re sitting out a season. So the standard “I hope to be back” is the norm.
I think most of them are under contract, Winter, and the contract says they’ll dance if needed. Like any other TV contract. I say most because I’m not so sure that’s true in all cases – Some may not have re-signed when their long term contract ended and are going on a season by season basis. I think this because of how Maks was making noise like he wasn’t coming back and suddenly Val was on and Maks had Hope as a partner – it sure looked like “lets make a deal” to me. And also because Derek talks like he is not contractually obligated any more too. Hard to say. It’s all speculation…well, except for the contract part. Pretty sure they all had those at one time or another even if they might not have one now.
I believe I recall reading that the pros signed 7 year deals with the production company for DWTS to be available if called on (I don’t think they can sign for longer than 7 years in California because longer than that is considered involuntary servitude), so most of the pros either have contracts that will be up in 2012 or soon thereafter. Also, even though DWTS is not a scripted TV show, there is still ‘casting’ being done with the pro dancers just as much as with the celebrity dancers. The producers always want certain ‘characters’ on each season, which is one reason (along with general popularity) why the producers ALWAYS have certain pro dancers on each season.
You’re not the only person who reads a lot about this show Sandra. A lot of us do. BUT the contracts are not public – anything you read on them is speculation. Actually listening to what the pros say and watching what they do is much more instructive, in any case, and there are many indications that you aren’t correct in your assessment. Julianne, Derek, maks and mark have all talked about leaving long before the 14 seasons you imply. Julianne did in fact leave. Derek said a couple seasons ago that he was thinking of leaving to do other things, as did mark. And there are a ton of indications that Maks was lured back with Val and Hope.
From what I’ve read, standard tv contracts are 5 seasons with two one season options, which allows renegotiation. But dwts doesn’t have standard seasons, and the pros started the series as minor players. We don’t really know anything about their contracts for that reason.
