DWTS Season 14 “Rumor” – Giuliana Rancic Approached By Dancing With The Stars
An insider from the set of Dancing With The Stars has told HollywoodLife.com that E News host, Giuliana Rancic, has been approached to be a contestant on Season 14. Heidi and I couldn’t decide whether or not to post from this source since they haven’t been very reliable in the past. Regardless and covering all bases (and because Zach is so excited on this possibility! LOL), we thought we’d post it. Be sure to read the full article at the link and let us know your thoughts.
“Producers have reached out to see if Giuliana would like to be a part of the show,” the source dishes. “They love the triumph over tragedy element that she would bring.”
I would think she is too busy with E News, but, I’m game if this were to come true. She’d be a perfect match for Tony I think with their brown eyes…or how about TEDDY V who I’d love to see picked to teach on this show?
Heidi’s Note: I dunno, it seems that some are throwing a bunch of people at the DWTS wall to see what sticks. Maybe she’ll be on DWTS…and maybe this so-called source isn’t all that good. I just seem to recall last season there was this same sort of flurry of “people approached” that later turned out to be untrue – in that they said they hadn’t been asked at all. Most web sites were getting it flat out wrong. Makes me wonder if the producers have learned how to play the game. 
If true? Great. I like her. She’s fairly tall though, isn’t she?? Or does she just appear that way next to Ryan? 
I have voted for Jacoby because I honestly didn’t think he’d beat Zendaya or Kellie in...
Ok, I already said this in another post, but I’m going to say it again here because I think it’s ridiculous that the story from Hollywood Life (and pretty everyone else) has failed to mention one crucial fact: Giuliana is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy in December, & is currently undergoing radiation treatment. And while the whole “triumph over tragedy” story may be like catnip to the producers, the fact is that Giuliana may not physically (or mentally, or emotionally) feel up to the rigors of DWTS. She returned to work at E!, but I get the feeling she’s probably not feeling 100% well yet, given what she’s been through & what she continues to go through. She has also expressed a desire to resume IVF treatments once she’s healthy again – and from what I hear, that’s no walk in the park, either. If this rumor is true (and I’m extremely dubious), I hope Giuliana turns it down – she needs time to recuperate and focus on her health. But really, this just feels like another name “ripped from the headlines” that these tabloid sites are hoping might coincide with the names TPTB are pursuing.
That’s the first thing that popped into my mind—that she would be recuperating from her treatments.
Court and Sheery, I bet you are right and if that’s the case, I bet she turns the offer down.
Like I said, some sites are throwing shit at the wall, hoping something sticks. Ridiculous indeed!
Never heard of her but I wish her all the best in her recovery!
I think she’d be okay for DWTS, but just not yet. As you guys have said, she’s in treatment for breast cancer. She’s trying to get pregnant. If’ she’s on the future, when she’s recovered, awesome. Then we can hear the whole triumph over tragedy story. I’ve watched her show a few times and she sounds like a great person. But she needs to get better first. I wish her best of luck
Sometimes life throws us some tough lessons to measure the strength of all of us. Makes me stop and really appreciate the little things in life that we all take for granted everyday.
My hope for her is to see her fully recovered and with a little one in tow…. and many years of health and happiness.
I know that some people have seen her on Fashion Police or E News or “Guliana and Bill” before but if anyone is interested “Fashion Police” is on tonight (special SAG Awards special) and iyts going to be shown again on Friday (Fashion Police is usually on on fridays).
